I vote next Tues for some Group and Limbo drifting. Me almost making it between you (driveby) and tony on Mugello last night made me want to try stunts like that. Make some badass videos and pictures. That and its hella fun.
Im down. I may not be very good but its different and I enjoy it. If only I would have made the reverse 180 between you guys too. Woulda been hella sweet too. Ill tell you drifting with man/clutch on a controller is a little challenging to say the least.
Yeah the drift night idea wasn't super popular, but then again I didn't expect too much interest. So as long as everyone knows that if they want to drift, just hit me up if I'm online. Or come to Michigan and make sure you bring lots of tires.
I stay away from the clutch on the controller. I'm set in my ways and can't get used to using an extra button. I've tried making the clutch LB and rolling my braking finger onto it for down shifts but it's super hard to brake smooth with my no ABS setting. Even making the clutch the A button and double punching is really strange to me.
With everyone else using clutch in races, it's like I have a permanent power handicap. I get killed on all of the straights. The guys must wonder why my car is so slow lol. At this point I choose to deal with it. I plan on getting a Fanatec set up and I've been setting money to the side when my woman allows me to. Then I can use the clutch the proper way and all will be good...
I use the LB clutch. So everytime I want to change gears mid drift or into a drift I have to hit LB+A or B. Kinda tricky but I've gotten used to it and it comes 2nd nature to me. Kinda funny when I race on DIRT 2 or GRID, I still reach for the clutch to shift.
Not sure I'll be doing this tonight or not. Got alot of things happening in my house right now. Well, not right now, but tonight. Not looking forward to it. Don't worry guys my wife and I are fine. So I'm not sleeping on the couch.
Hey Cooter, have you tried drifting the Morgan....I'm all about drifting cars that weren't meant for drifting...'57 Bel Air...'64 impala..'65 GTO etc.....going for the beetle next, but I havent been on for awhile now so hopefully i can get in on this soon.
Your more than welcome to join us Shepard. We kinda drift and play soccer when there isn't much else going on. So it's not only Tuesday nights really. Do I have you on my friends list? If I did and your not there anymore, don't take offense, my son likes to log into my tag, play forza, then remove people from my list. He's 3 so I can't really say he knows what he's doing all the time. As for the uncommon drift cars, I'm into that too. I have a drifting 2010 Taurus SHO police car, a drifting Gallardo, and I've got the unicorn Camaro SS as a drifter as well. The Morgan is a for sure strange drift car.
Should be up for a bit of sideways action after the icons.
Sorry I missed out again. I have a friend who's stopped in to hang out for a bit.
No worries. I actually ended up just painting cars and having a phenomenal race with Max.
BUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll leave it up to you guys to hit me up when you all feel like drifting. You know I'm always down to drift.

I had a Morgan drift machine for a while. It wasn't too bad at all.
Speaking of weird drift cars, I have an Audi wagon that it is pure awesomeness to drift
