For those of you not aware, 2old2play was prominently featured in The Wall Street Journal this morning. While the article tended to focus on our age and inability to keep up with younger gamers, our leaders Joel “Doodirock” Albert, Derek “DSmooth” Nolan, and Tiffany “ElektraFi” Fary kept the article focused on the site, rather than our age. The Wall Street Journal wisely edited LBSutke out of the article.
I don’t believe that we are too old to compete, but we are too wise to play with children. Gamers are aging, whether we like it or not, and while we are not ready for the retirement home, we realize that gaming is more fun when you play with grown ups. Thanks again to our wise elder council for presenting the site as a place for adults to play. Awesome job, gang!
