I am so stoked that I got assigned to do the New Releases this week because my all time favorite gaming franchise releases a new game this week. Gears of War 4 takes us back to the world of Serra and introduces us to a new generation of Gears in the form of JD Fenix. Last name sound familiar? Yup, JD is Marcus’ loin fruit. I’ve been playing this since the 7th and am loving it so far!

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Definitive Experience

Release Date: October 11, 2016

Platforms: PC, Xbox One, PS4

Didn’t this game just come out and a few months later, there is a definitive edition? WTF? I’m pretty sure I speak for most of us but I wish publishers would just release the definitive edition instead of a regular edition then another edition then the definitive edition. What? They doubt that the work they did the first two times wasn’t cannon so they have to put out an edition that sets the record straight? Without mentioning names, the unnamed game publisher that we’ll call Konami really did a number on an unnamed creator whom we will call Kojima and are now doing a number on us.
