I’m up again on new releases after getting to skip December since nothing actually came out the week it was my turn. This week we have a bunch of new titles dropping on my birthday although the one I’m most excited for I’ll have to wait a few more days for. Psyched to see 2016 starting off with three adventure games!
Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India

Another entry into the Assassin’s Creed family. This is the second in the Chronicles series which is a 2.5D platformer. The first was set in China and the third in the series due out in February will be in Russia.
Gone Home: Console Edition

This one has been on PCs for a while but is finally coming to next gen consoles. I have a copy on Steam but haven’t gotten to it yet. Its supposed to be a great first person interactive adventure game.
Heroes Reborn: Gemini

This is a first person action adventure game based on NBC’s Heroes Reborn miniseries. According to series creator Tim Kring in an interview with IGN he’d always wanted to bring a “universe of content” to Heroes so both this and a mobile game are coming out soon.

The Banner Saga

This Viking themed tactical RPG came out in 2013 but is just making its way to modern consoles. The original seems to have decent reviews.
That Dragon, Cancer

This game was created by the parents of a boy diagnosed with cancer. Its an art game designed to bring the player through the emotions of the family and the child. Is Ouya even still a thing?!

This is the title I’m most interested in this week! It's a story driven adventure game by some Telltale alum inspired by 80s teen horror movies. Adding it to my Steam wishlist now!
Dragon’s Dogma

This Capcom RPG was released for last gen consoles in 2012 but is coming to PC this month. It's rumored there may be an online sequel coming soon.
