New Releases: Week of September 2, 2014

Labor Day weekend is behind us, with memories of cook outs and family outings fresh in the memory, waking up this morning and forgetting that you have the day off, or you just made it one. For most of us we have the rest of the week to look forward to, darn having to work, keeping us from the tempting new games that are coming out this week. Get your ammo ready and your dancing shoes on, prepare your warriors and pull out the mug shots, this week has a variety of releases that should appeal to all.

Announced at this years E3, Sherlock Holmes: Crime and Punishment puts you in control, going through eight cases as Sherlock himself. Be warned, your decisions will affect you and your reputation throughout the game. Using the Unreal Engine 3, and boasting some beautiful graphics and transitions, this game promises beautiful game play along with a great story to pull you into Sir Conan Doyle's’ realm of Sherlock Holmes.

 

Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate

Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate is an updated and enhanced version of Warriors Orochi 3, once again combining the much loved heroes of the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series. This edition features a few new modes including One Warrior Against a Thousand Battles, which sends up to 100 AI against the player, online and offline competition modes, and Dual Mode, which is a blend of team battles and card battles. Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate now also features cross-play and cross-save support.

 

Dance Central Spotlight

Coming exclusively to Xbox One for digital download, Dance Central Spotlight comes with ten songs upon purchase and claims to have more DLC out every week, with some songs still being on the music charts. Using the Kinect, you can work up a sweat to all the latest songs and dance routines.
