Ubisoft has not one but two Assassin's Creed games launching on 11/11. The 7th title in the franchise, Unity, is for next gen and PC while the 8th, Rogue, hits 360 and PS3. They are two completely different but slightly related full games. Rob Zombie and Walking Dead co-creator put together an animated short to set the stage for the launch of Unity.

The ultimate Halo collection is available for the XBone. It features all 4 games “remastered” (which totally is not a word you should use for video games since there’s no actual mastering step involved in their production, Microsoft) and access to the beta for Halo 5 multiplayer.

Ubisoft sure has been busy! In addition to the 2 AC games they have a new fitness game. This Kinect title attempts to gamify your workout putting you in the video game world while you jump around. It kinda looks like Double Fine’s Happy Action Theater for adults.

My childhood feels wronged having a Sonic game be a Nintendo exclusive. In my mind he and Mario are still mortal enemies. Apparently there’s also a tie in cartoon which doesn’t air on Saturday mornings since apparently that’s no longer a thing either.

This is a war game I might actually consider playing. Instead of playing as soldiers you play as a group of civilians in a war torn city doing whatever you can to survive. The gameplay focuses on resource management and gut wrenching life and death decisions.
