I’ve always thought that sounded like something an overzealous Star Wars fan with a lisp would shout while wearing a Stormtrooper costume in line to meet Mark Hamill at a convention. Unsurprisingly, there are no new Star Wars games releasing this week: looks like Disney missed a golden opportunity to be a fucking cornball. This week we have an Indie “Most Likely to Succeed” candidate, miniature golf goes steampunk, a JRPG that nobody here is going to play, Nazis, and a GOTY edition with a familiar “ring” to it.

This lantern-holding simulator is a port of the PC cautionary tale of the dangers of using ether at an isolated lighthouse. This one is available for download starting Tuesday.

An adventure of the “boy and his cat” variety follows Boyd and his ability to switch from 8-bit to 16-bit graphics, which is presumably exactly what the WiiU can handle. This one drops Wednesday.
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor GOTY Edition

Shadow of Mordor was a pretty good game, but it wasn’t game of the year. I would expect some DLC and a few extras thrown in. I would not expect to pay sixty bucks.

This highly anticipated indie darling is an old-school RPG set in a world where those with magical abilities are isolated from society for the greater good. This one is available for download on Steam right now, and if my PC wasn’t such a piece of shit, I’d be playing it right now.
Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker

It looks like a steampunk mini golf game with a course editor and player customization. Might be worth looking into if you’re the Virtual Pool/Putt Putt aficionado.
