Guitar Hero II for Xbox 360 has been given a release date, price and official track list according to EB Games.
A quick search on EB shows the release date is March 1st 2007, but that’s a Thursday and most games usually come out on a Tuesday. So something seems off with that release date.
The price is listed at $89.99 which is in line with Guitar Hero II for the Playstation 2. There was some speculation that because it is a ‘next gen’ version that it may hit $100 or better, but it seems Activision has kept the price fair.
Guitar Hero II will for the first time have a multiplayer Co-Op mode. Players can pick which track they want to perform: Lead, Rhythm or Bass.
All the music tracks were recorded at WaveGroup Studio who did all the licensed tracks for the original Guitar Hero. There are 55 tracks including classic rock, ‘hair metal, heavy metal, modern rock and alternative rock.
