Imagine how many peices of hardware they would be selling if it hadn't been for the RROD and the other stories. |
Yeah, fixing this problem would be a drop in the bucket compared to the RROD issue. But, on the flip side, shipping an unstable piece of hardware like the 360 and having the bad press for it was the price they paid to get their product out first. Had they failed to get it out first, Sony may have gotten a lead on them in the US.
Take the prices of repairing all the RROD boxes with full service, shipment back to the customer and paying tech support and it's probably a drop in the bucket compared to what Sony is losing taking such large losses on the PS3 to gain the momentum and win the high def format war. |

I agree with Smooth on this one. The 360 isn't mobile and its not made to be tossed around. Laptops are made now to be dropped and moved all around on a moments notice. The computer tower I have have a floating disk and it doesn't get bounced around. At the same time MS should look at it as customer service. I don't think they did wrong though.
Talking about in game perks to move new games, one word Crackdown. A lot of people bought this game for one reason, the Halo Beta Test. I really like Crackdown but I'm sure some people paid $60 just for the Beta.
Gold Subscriptions Topic. I believe they let Silvers play Shadow Run and other games online. and they Have Gold week ends. Which wouldn't piss me off in the least if they had "cool shit" week ends for Golds.
Love the podcast.

We recorded it last night, expect it Friday morning DSmooth time (he's in his own time zone; I call it the lack of sleep time zone) |
