I tried it for a bit last night, it's pretty cool...It's way better with the headphones on.

I played through it a couple of times and it's a pretty cool adjustment to the standard fair of Field Commander/Advance Wars strategy games. While it is turn based, it seems like more of a fluid and active environment.

I haven't figured out if you can rotate the camera, so that is a real pain. You can crouch, but without varied angles, it makes taking cover a bit tricky for a beginner like me.

I'm not sure how deep the retail version will be. There are only a dozen or so maps, and if the demo was a full map, they are pretty small. They say there are 20 weapons, but I hope that translates to a lot of customization, and not just a logical progression from weak to powerful weapons.

I am hoping they release a download demo of the new SOCOM strategy game that comes out next week.
