I told my wife about this and she says she would play. This may be my chance to get her in to video games. Would it be a problem if she plays even though she's not part of 2old2play?

She may need to play on my account as I'm not sure it supports split screen MP. If it does though, we will both be playing.

I'd never deprive a person the opportunity of getting their significant other into gaming. I don't believe split screen is supported, as the other player would see your cards.

I have the game and still play it occasionally if nobody else is on. I would definitely join you. One problem. I have a shitty work schedule Saturday nights so the earliest I could be on is 11pm EST. Worst case scenario I won't be on until 12:30am. I can host games too. So if it's still going late I may be able to join. Let me know.

The tournament begins at nine, and I will be online around 8:30. Please either post here when you're on and available, or send me a message over Live. We shouldn't need a second game runner with the turnout we have here, which is good. I expect the tournament to last a little over an hour with the players we have. I plan on playing poker all night, so anyone that logs on later is welcome to send me a message. The actual tournament itself is at 9, and after that the games will be casual drop-in drop-out style for the late comers. I hope to see everyone there. Don't hesitate to asks questions, as I plan on checking this thread often throughout the day.

I want to give a BIG Thank You to Lou, Rascal, Torture, Poonga, and anyone else I may have missed that helped my wife during her game time on the 2old2play poker night. She had a blast and I think she may have started to realize why I get soo much enjoyment out of gaming and gaming with 2o2p folks more specifically.

THIS is what 2o2p is all about and why I joined in the first place. Like minded and age minded gamers who don't care about about skill level, only care about having fun.

Again, Thank You for helping her along.

I set her up with an XBL Gold account for this occasion and I think she may actually take advantage of it.

You're very welcome Leviticus. It was a lot of fun donating money to her just to be spanked by her anyway. The whole night was a blast even though it was only a few of us. It was a great time and I am definitely going to do this again in a few months! Thank you Poonga, Torture, Rascal, and both of the Levitici. I'm going to try to spread the word more next time and hopefully run a bigger tournament, but considering how much fun it was, I'll gladly play five hours of poker with you guys again without hesitation.

Yes, definitely. My schedule is really tough right now, as I'm working 60 hours a week. If anyone else wants to run it, its quite easy and I can explain everything. It was a lot of fun.

If you do run it, I can instruct you about what to do. Its quite easy. I heard a bunch of people say they'd have played if it weren't that particular Saturday, so there would likely be a bigger turn out another time.

Everyone is always welcome to join. Sorry, I had abbreviated times I was on tonight. I am going to organize another big night in the next few weeks, though. In the mean time, considering the relatively large amount of interest in the game, post here any time you're planning on playing and games can be easily set up. Has anyone ever gotten a royal flush in this game? I've been one card away three times, and I've lost to them twice (both were to AI.)

Texas Heat Fall 2012 Season DLC is available as a free download in the marketplace! I'm really happy to see this game getting continuous support. I'm sure there will be a Spring 2013 Season that will reactivate the 2011 Spring achievements, as the 2012 Summer did for the original 2011 ones.
