So I just read that this is coming to XBL sometime, mid-March.

This is big, big news for me.  I used to play boardgames alot, Settlers of Catan especially.  Once we had our baby, space in the house became a bit of a premium and boardgame playing took a dramatic spike downwards.  I have played in Catan tournaments and have won two of the tournaments I have been in.

I've gone on huge tirades over at 1up.com with guys about this and I won't do this place the injustice of copy and pasting.  Instead I'll use handy bullet points to make my argument. :D

I'll go over the most common complaints that I have heard about the game, but before that I want to discuss the term "overrated".

People tend to confuse dislike with overrated.

This is just a heads up to start out that there will most likely be some spoilers in these reviews. I’ll try to keep it to a minimum but I tend to get a bit excited at times when I write and with that I just start assuming that everyone has read the same stuff I have.
