A few weeks back I blogged about my incident at Baskin Robbins. I finally heard back from their corporate HQ. I had hoped my letter to the manager would have worked but I never heard back from him/her.

I finally received a letter today (with my name misspelled) that I will paraphrase-

We are sorry to hear of your experience at Baskin Robbins.

All Baskin Robbins are locally owned so it is not actually our fault.

Our gazillion dollar geewhiz washing machine broke yesterday. This is one of those super capacity HE washers that can do something like 16 pairs of jeans at once. I have 4 children along with my wife so we generate a LOT of dirty clothes as you can imagine.  The repair people can't get to it until Saturday. This could get interesting.

What a drag - mainly for my Cutie. She'll be driving to her parents to do laundry.

So today I called the corporate headquarters and talked to one of their customer service reps. She was not happy to hear about what had happened. She will be reporting the incident to the manager of the store as well as his/her superior. If I hear from them again I will let you know.

I saw this video via digg.com and I had to post it here. It reminded me of my kids. Not that my kids are thieves, but that these idiots use the same limited thinking my 5 and 6 year old exhibit from time to time:
