The Humble THQ Bundle

Tue, 12/11/2012 - 21:38 — DCJamison

For Steam gamers.

Nine legendary titles to rock your gaming library. The Humble THQ Bundle is here with a colossal onslaught of esteemed titles. Pay $1 or more for Steam keys for Company of Heroes (and its two full-blown expansions Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor), Darksiders, Metro 2033, Red Faction: Armageddon. And if you pay over the average price you’ll also receive Red Faction: Armageddon Path to War DLC, Titan Quest, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Game of the Year Edition and the extraordinary Saints Row: The Third!

I'd suggest throwing in Burnout Paradise to get your crash fix. For about the same price used(if you dont already own this one), you get a full retail game, along with the Showtime game mode, which is what burnout crash is based on, but Showtime was way more fun.

Racers against EA

Fri, 08/26/2011 - 07:57 — DCJamison

I am not purchasing a substantial amount of "new" EA software in the next year, due to their chosing not to allow me to drive Porsches in a game that by all rights (in my opinion) should be allowed to have Porsches in it.

The following is a list of games I will not be purchasing this fall, that I most likely would have purchased:

NFS: The Run
Mass Effect 3
Star Wars the Old Republic
Battlefield 3
SSX
Burnout Crash
So, $60 x 4, $50 for SWTOR + $15 a month x 12 for a sub = $470 out of a possible $485 EA would have had in their pocket from me in the next year, strike that, 4 months.
multiply that by 1,000 Porsche enthusiasts(I'm sure there are more than 1,000)
$485,000 or if there are 10,000 that will follow me down this path $4.85 Million dollars.

Maybe this will hurt EA maybe enough that they'll stop screwing with us.
