Well i still have to redo the control panel graphics and order the coin door locks but, other than that it's finished. 

Had to wait a while for paint but, yesterday my Street Fighter 2 CE arcade cabinet came back from my friends paint shop! I thought i would post up a picture real quick showing the assembly progress. :)

Oh and if your playing Blops2 hit me up! I normally play Hardcore TDM or Kill Confirmed but, I'll pretty much play anything.

Well ithe weather has been crappy lately so the arcade had to get put on hold for now. All the finish work is complete. Just waiting on paint and final assembly.

picked up the new Tomb Raider and it's fantastic! I've already played theough it but, now i'm going for 100% in campaign. The mp kinda sucks. Probably wont play that very much.

also bought God of War ascension. The game was...meh. Not as good as the third but, not a bad game overall. It just didnt have the "wow" factor the 3rddone gave me. Not to mention the game has some bugs and issues with loading the cutscenes. 

And now it's time to talk about Gears of War Judgement.  What can I say, I'm just not excited for this release. I have it onpreorder but,, i still dont know if i'm going to pick it up on release day. I might wait a little while on this one. Something about it just isn't clicking and i don't feel like donating  more $$ to epic games just for them to bend me over on mp map packa and other bs.

Well a friend of mine is supposed to paint the cabinet in about another week or so if everything stays on schedule. Today I'm going to get the capacitors on the jamma board changed out and a little bit of sanding & filling in a few spots i'm still not completely happy with. Other than that I'll probably just play some Blops2 and Gears 3!

Oh btw, it's a snow day. WOOOOT!

Just a few more pics. Should be ready for paint by the weekend. The first pic is after i finished filling and sanding. The next is just test fitting the custom bezel image. The last is a couple showing the sound upgrade from mono to stereo. By using an alternate pinout on the main board i was able to get a stereo signal but, was very low volt. So I added a nice little 12V amplifier that puts out 25x2rms @ 8ohms into a couple of full range Dayton Audio 4" drivers. The sound is awesome! :)

It's been too long since I've been back on 2O2P! Anyway, just wanted to post up a link to my new project. I'm calling it a Williams design inspired custom Street Fighter 2 Champion Edition arcade cabinet. I didn't really like the design of the original SF2CE cabinet so I went with what I like. So far it's coming along pretty well. I have a few items left to get done before I can get it painted: rear doors, some internal bracing, hinges for the console & doors, cut in the wall plug plate and a few other small things. All the major work is complete. Suprisingly it hasn't taken very long. I started on it Saturday morning around 10am and worked until about 8:30pm. Sunday I only spent about 2 hours on it. Not too bad. I'm still not sure about the monitor though. I wish I could find an original 25" crt but, coming across one has been a bust. So for now I'm going with the 19" NEC. I have a feeling I'll be going with something like a 27" widescreen and cropping the image into a 4:3 format using the screen bezel lol. After this one is complete I'll probably keep it...at least for a while. I still have a Splatterhouse board that needs a cabinet and I'm also designing my own MAME cabinet. I would like to have 4-5 arcades total. My "to have" list includes - Altered Beast, Mortal Kombat 1& 2, Splatterhouse, and I'm still considering the SF2CE. I played it quite a bit as a kid and think it might end up staying and not being sold. Who knows LOL!  Anyway, let me know what you think about the cabinet. And what would your favorite arcade game list be (or currently is)?

So I take a small break from this site and when I come back I'm greeted by people who are supposed to be 2O2P and they're acting like fucking children? Might have to kiss this website goodbye.

Not sure if I want to work around the house or play some xbox. If I play xbox, do I play some Halo Reach or Borderlands 2? What to do...hmmmm....decisions decisions. LOL Somehow I think i'll just try to squeeze them all in!!!

So I tried to take monday and tuesday off for the release of Halo 4. My vacation days were approved but, then I had to cancel them myself. I have too much work to do. Suck. Then, I found out yesterday I have to work Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Super suck.

I'm also really excited for Hitman Absolution!!!! Probably more so than Halo! LOL! Anyone else excited for this game? I think my top score on  the Sniper Challenge was only like 1.6million or some crap but, it was fun as hell!!

Also, I have a bit of a rant. I recently purchased the Turtle Beach DPX51 (i think, 5.1 chorded headset) anyway, the only complaints i have about them is that the earmuffs bleed ink onto my head and around my ears! I have a shaved head so you can only imagine what this looks like! Do you remeber the classic movie Police Academy when they put the shoe pilish on the megaphone? Yep, that's what it looks like around my ears. XD Anyway, has anyone else had this happen? I'm thinking of calling the customer hotline.
