PC Gaming Looking Pretty Good

I don't know about the rest of you but PC gaming is starting to look pretty appealing again as of lately. Sure the comforts of sitting on the couch or in the bean bag chair are great but these console companies are starting to be as bad as OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) for cryin out loud.

I guess this idea of mine has stemmed from waiting on the MS Cert testers to get done with Minecraft 1.8.2 for XB360. 4J has already tested it thouroughly, but no, that's not good enough for good ole Microsoft. Meanwhile Mojang allows PC gamers to install small pieces of the next big update, as they're ready, at their own risk basically. I'm fine with that. Why? Because I'm given the choice.  Microsoft's dictatorship-like standards are starting to annoy me greatly. I know Valve doesn't really want to deal with them after they were told they HAD to charge for extra content. After reading Tank's many posts about DLC and the like I am in agreeance with him. It's getting ridiculous!

Maybe I'm way off base on this but I'm going to start building the gaming PC i've wanted for awhile and get back in to PC gaming. Maybe the grass isn't greener on the other side but I'm gonna find out for myself before the next gen consoles come out.
