Silent Hill movie

It has been a long couple weeks plus for me with my brothers progressing illness and eventual passing last week.  Today I took a day to not think about it.  I had been wanting to see Silent hill.  I played the first three games of the series and have been looking forward to this movie.

I told a friend I was interested and he mentioned that he had a close friend who walked out in the middle.  I figured that this person was not familiar with the game and what to expect from the movie.  I was right.  The movie followed the game fairly close.  Obviously some changes were made but the essential story was there.  I especially enjoyed the introduction of the pyramid head monster!  Yikes!!!

With all that has been going on for me, it may not have been the best choice in movies but I really wanted to see it. 

Kinda made me want to play the original game again tho.
