Huzzuh! The AC was fixed on Friday. Turns out that there is a cover over connectors in the AC unit. This fell off, and this year there are a ton of earwigs. Earwigs+electricity = dead AC and earwig. At least I killed one of those little fuckers.

It was a VERY quick fix... i.e. the guy was fiddling around withthe AC unit, came inside to check the furnace and if came on by itself. The ex-earwig had falled  out allowing for the connection to occur. He replaced the little connector unit: and alls well that ends well.

Friday was a good day for me... things on the homefront have gotten super stressy. Sean is wonderrful, everything is great there, but there are other worries. Being all preggo means that everything is sort of magnified. Under the suggestion of the doctor, I took Friday off sick. She will write me off on my last week of work if I feel the need. We will see... Either way, Friday was a necessity.

I find that I'm so tired lately. I will sleep fine until the first time I need to wake up (last trimester of pregnancy means there is no room for baby  AND bladder... lots of trips tot he bathroom) but after that first trip tot he bathroom, I can't seem to get back asleep. Or asleep comfortably.  So I am not getting enough rest by far. I suppose it preps you for breastfeeding every 3 hours... but damn it sucks!  This AM I slept until about 10AM, then had a nap later on where I was comatose.. so I feel better now.

Problem is Sean isn't getting as much as he needs either... and since right now my physical needs trump his, the guy is totally bagged. But tomorrow is his day to sleep in, so hopefully he can catch up.

Other than that: still a ton of packing up to do: we are T-minus 10 days until move. Erica is having some... worries... about how the move is going to work. We are at the point where we are having to pack up some of her stuff... and it's hard on a kid. We keep telling her that everything moves, but she can move her Backyardigans... things like that. I think it's the unknown that freaks her out. She can't anticipate and she is a kid who likes to know what is what.

Holy hell, one moment to brag about her, if I can. She is one smart kid. She is reading (not memorizing) by sounding out letters. The other day, while doing mortgage crap, she was reading her colouring book. On one page it had even numbers, the other page had odd. And it had "Colour the One in Blue" Colour the Three in Red" and so on. She did hte whole thing, read it without any help. Well... except for "Eight" -  try explaining that one. "Well honey, English is kinda a weird language...."   Anyway. Erica is smart for her age. And I love her to bits. That is all.

Gaming... is taking SUCH a backseat in my life... I managed one battle in puzzle quest 2 today. That may be it for the day/weekend.

How are things going out there, 2o2pers?

AC is a wonderful thing! I'm glad it's working again. I couldn't imagine being preggo and not having AC. Have a good weekend.
