For each a road
For everyman a religion
Find everybody and rule
F*** everything and rumble
Forget everything and remember
For everything a reason
Forgive everybody and remember

For each a road
For everyman a religion
Face everybody and rule
F*** everything and rumble
Forget everything and remember
For everything a reason

You got the fear
You got the fear
You got the fear
You got the fear
You got the fear
F.E.A.R. (You got the fear)
F.E.A.R. (You got the fear)
F.E.A.R. (You got the fear)
F.E.A.R. (You got the fear)

Finding eternity arouses reactions
Freeing excellence affects reality
Fallen empires are ruling
Find earth and reap

Fantastic expectations
Amazing revelations
Final execution and resurrection
Free expression as revolution
Finding everything and realizing

You got the fear
You got the fear
You got the fear
You got the fear
You got the fear
F.E.A.R. (You got the fear)
F.E.A.R. (You got the fear)
F.E.A.R. (You got the fear)
F.E.A.R. (You got the fear)

(Fantastic expectations
Amazing revelations
Finding everyone and reuniting
For everything a reason)

F.E.A.R. (You got the fear)
F.E.A.R. (You got the fear)
F.E.A.R. (You got the fear)
F.E.A.R. (You got the fear)
You got the fear
You got the fear
You got the fear
You got the fear

It's a shame the man is a tool, but he writes awesome choons. I'll get F.E.A.R. done as a tatoo some day.

Dad Spam - Idea courtesy of JeepChick77

So, JeepChick77 regularly posts up funnies she gets from her Dad.

I received the following from my own father this morning, unfortunately not quite as funny:

"Thank you for the lovely Christmas surprise that you and your other half bestowed on your mother! It was very much appreciated by your mother who was over the moon with delight, to learn that your other half refused her Christmas gifts and gave them away! You do realise of course, that santa`s sack will be empty next year and that only deserving little boys and girls get presents?

Your sister informed me and I passed it on to your mother, that you were in the huff because she didn`t phone you on your birthday! So what, you are only 30 or is it 3? Sometimes I get all confused with age!
Anyway, if it was your intention to alienate yourselves and burn all your bridges behind you, you have done a remarkable job!

Last year I made a mistake and made several apologies to your other half that apparently fell on deaf ears! Perhaps I hit a nerve at the time and it is still a painfull reminder! On the other side of the coin, it was not our fault that you both got yourselves into a situation and I do understand when you say that you were not feeling very festive but it is easier to lay the blame elsewhere!

You have a nice new year, that is of course if you are feeling new yearish and once you stop feeling sorry for yourself and grow up, you might just realise that you are not the only one with financial problems but most people don`t use it as an excuse to take out their frustrations on others!"

It's nice to know that my dysfunctional fanily is all my fault, just before the New Year

Still, in true Scottish style, I shall endeavour to drink this off my mind, and pay the price tomorrow - I hope everyone does the same thing, and has as enjoyable a Hogmanay as I intend to!

Odd Shoe Day

You ever have one of those days where you realise halfway into it, that you're wearing odd socks? I had a day like that today, only instead of odd socks, I found myself wearing odd shoes.

Seriously.

It's not as bad as it sounds though. I have two pairs of shoes I usually alternate for work. They're both exactly teh same style of dark brown leather shoe. The only difference is that the leather on one pair is slightly textured. I was halfway into the day before I looked down at my feet and realised I had one of the textured shoes on my left foot, and a plain one on my right.

I have no explanation

New Ink

Well, Christmas came and went with the usual lashings of family drama, as expected. I won't get into it just now - you're probably sick of reading about it, and I know that I'm sick of writing about it.

What I thought I'd do instead was share with you a new tattoo I had done for my birthday, on the inside of my right forearm. I actually thought I'd put it up here previously, but I guess I'm mistaken. The picture's not great, but it's good enough that you can see it.

It's Hebrew, and reads, "This too shall pass." I've had it for a month now, and it healed up very quick, with minimal scabbing. I had it done in Edinburgh, actually by the same guy who did the tattoo on my other forearm.

No new career for now :(

Yeah, there's no space for another full-time writer on Massviely just now, so I won't be changing jobs just yet. Bugger.

Thanks for the comments on the last blog guys. I know how dodgy it could be, changing careers in this economy, but as I'm already bankrupt, there's not too much to fear just now!

I finished Mass Effect last night, and I have to say that it's easily the best game I've played in quite some time. I played it through as a female Infiltrator/Commando, full Paragon points, and got my 'mack' on with Liara. The class and moral choices were much my own - I prefer the idea of shooting things from a distance via sniper rifle, and I always end up feeling bad when I'm mean to people in computer games. The whole lesbian love affair with a hot blue alien is less of a reflection of myself, and more just me being a pervert. I'll be playing it through again shortly, this time as a male, with a different class. maybe Vanguard. I'll probably still end up being a Paragon.

I've been off 'sick' yesterday and today. As I've mentioned recently, I just don;t have any motivation for my job right now. I'll be back in tomorrow however, as my guilty conscience is already playing up. Until then I'll enjoy myself, as I'm installing Fallout 3 while I type
