I'm home!

After a LONG, awful 16 hours of driving, I'm home.  I dropped my mother off at her house and drove another hour and a half in an almost white out blizzard.  What a way to end a trip.  Everyone but me and the kid felt crappy on the way home.  My mother worst of all.  The only thing I had wrong with me was a little bit of a headache and my neck was so stiff that I had a hard time turning it left or right.  Nevertheless, I left New York at about 7am CST and arrived home at 12:30am.  I may be getting older, but I can still do it!  lol 

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm feeling pretty damn good this morning.  A slight bit of a stiff neck yet, but nothing compared to last night.  I guess I should call my work peoples and see if I have anything to do.........even though I am enjoying a slow morning and looking at the snow outside.

P.S.  - If you feel this crap that I had coming on, drink a bottle of gatorade and a bottle of water.  I think it's the only thing that really kept me from having the full blown effects like everyone else did.

It ain't food poisoning........

Cause I got it.   I somehow managed to limit the symptoms to just feeling like shit and not puking so far.  I'm feeling kinda ok right now, but, another 8 hours will tell the real story.  The wife and kid are already saying they're feeling like getting sick again...........I hope not.  I HATE being sick..........

It's definitely some sort of stomach flu....

Well, now my wife has it.  So far it's been my kid, my mother and my wife..........hmmmm........who the HELL does that leave out!  I can't get it.  I HAVE to drive home tomorrow!  I've got to go to work on Monday!!!!!!  I've got 16 hours of driving to do.  I'm going out for the day.......so I'm as far away as I can get from this.  If I get sick.........well.......it'll happen, I may even have it.  But if I don't have it, doesn't hurt to stay away.

Well, another 24 hours....

Just got up and was hoping to leave but it looks like we're here for another 24 hours.  Yeah me.  Oh well, what can you do when someone is sick?  HOPEFULLY whatever this is doesn't hit me.  Seems like it sneaks up on you and takes you out.  You're fine, then you get dizzy, vomit a shitload, shit your brains out and then slowly feel better........lasts about 24 hours.  I just hope that I don't get it........since I'm the one that's driving the whole way.

Oh, and to the gutless wonder that thumbed down all my blogs........either don't read my blogs, give me a comment on why or........get a life.

Was counting down the hours but may need to add another 24!  My mother is sick now puking and shit like my kid was.  I hope to hell it was only my MIL's food.......I NEED to get home....I NEED my xbox and some gaming!     Damn it.........she might have to sit on top of the van cause I wanna get outta here!
