Post a picture of Megan sleeping. She had a rough night as far as sleep goes. I went in her room around 12:30AM because she seemed to be having a nightmare and crying off and on.

Monday night awesomeness

Well, after a somewhat relaxing weekend at home, having everyone in the same house we were treated to an amazing event on Monday night. The men in our Sunday School class get together every third Monday for BBQ, fellowship and prayer time. Well, about twon months ago, one the guys had an idea about a pig roast at his place and inviting a buinch of folks over to celebrate. Well, things grew and grew and he felt led, through prayer and seeking God's face, to hold not only the BBQ, but have a fund raiser for Megan as well. In the last two weeks, this went from maybe 20-30 guys up to maybe 50-75. Not only that, but one of the gentlemen that's a member of the church is good friends with Lex Luger, yes The Total Package, and was able to secure him to come give his testimony. And it was simply AMAZING! He has been through so much in his life and you can check it out here at his wiki page. Most recently, suffering a spinal stroke and losing a lot of his mobility. Also, in attendance, was Brian Daniels. The only way I can describe his art, and the way he desribes it as well, is called shadow art. He takes a blank canvas, with some color on it, and adds shadowing to bring out a bigger picture. Youtube below, along with before and after pictures from the BBQ do it no justice. By the way, the second set of pictures, in black and white, was the first time he had done that picture in public. He auctioned those off and also, there was a raffle. All I can say, was that I hardly kept a dry face throughout the event. Stacy got up and gave a brief testimony that was absolutely inspiring. God was in that tent Monday night and we give Him all the glory, honor and praise. Take care everyone and have a blessed day.

Back at home

So, I talk to Stacy this morning and she informs me that she hasn't seen the doctor yet, for discharge. This was around 10AM and next thing you know, a couple of hours later, she pulls into the drive way. She pulled a fast one and surprised me with their arrival.

Awesome having everyone home. Thank you all, again, for the prayers and thoughts. Thanks to all who have donated by purchasing buttons. I got mine in the mail today and they are EXCELLENT! Thanks Kenny.

You folks at the LAN, have a great weekend. Sorry we missed out this year, maybe next year.

A good day, and an even better tomorrow

Today, they removed Megan's IV and she has been doing well, tolerating the formula on her G-tube. We pray the she continues to do well, keeping the prospect of IV feeds at bay. Also, the Lord willing, Megan and Stacy will get to come home tomorrow. Maybe late morning, or early afternoon. It just depends on when the doctor gets by to discharge her. Anyhow, that's about it for now. Thank you all SO MUCH for the thoughts and prayers as we continue to press on. She is not out of the woods, by any means, but she is showing how much of a strong child she is.

I heard a song the other day that caught my ear. It's called "If You Want Me To" by Ginny Owens. The lyrics are spot on, when it comes to going through trials.
