From Merry to Mayhem

My long lost older sibling looks like me, well me if I never ate a thing.  Sooooooo skinny, skullface skinny.  But she isn't very interesting, and as much as I tried, I couldn't hold a conversation with her.    Her kids are cute, her husband is Southern Genteeeeeeel, and ... that's about all I got to find out.

I have been walking around for days humming tunes from Galaxy News Radio.  I love the tunes!  Reminscint of another time... but with whack upgraded lyrics.  I swear in one of them this gals says she is horny... might be corny now that I think about it.  So I googled me some Lyrics and BAM  Found them at legalgeekery.com.

She does say Corny, "I’m as corny as Kansas in August,"

Friends, Horde, Rock Band & Beers

Great weekend with LB and Bunky.  My kids learned a lot, Becca learned a lot - maybe too much!  A good time was had by all!

I can't believe we drank all the damn beer.  And yes, I popped my Rock Band drum cherry - I suck... really really bad.

Staying in to save some Dough

Seems that the Video Game Industry is not being affected by our declining economy!

It makes complete sense to me!  Between the array of MUST HAVE titles dropping, the addition of Rock Band/GT:World Tour group party concept, and the expense of going out... staying in and logging some hours on your favorite console sounds perfect to me!

You know the drill.  I am about to request that political posts be marked just as NSFW.  8 years of one party being flagrantly bashed and belittled, what did you expect?  That no one would turn it around on you?  That they would turn the other cheek once the balance of power shifted?  Of course not!

"But I'm right." "But it's a lie" "But he said..""But she said..." 

At this point, I don't really care who is in power.  I don't care what was promised.  We are in such a bad bad situation right now, I strongly doubt anyone has the time or resources to push ANY agenda.  I'm cannot blame Obama for backing off some of his campaign promises.  They were just that .. promises.  Ideas meant to reflect his character and what he would like to see this Country accomplish.  Pointing out a political party's, or candidate's, ideas that you disagree with is a good thing.  Making personal attacks on someone, and assuming many things about a person's character and political values outside of what they have stated, that is NOT productive.

So Truce?  OLLY OLLY OXEN FREEEEEEEE!!!!  C'mon, I promise we can all start backbiting each other once our pockets are lined again.  Right now I am too poor to have an opinion.

A few notes on the Gears campaign.... I love 90% of it. 

What I don't love is,.....

1. Unskippable Cut scenes.

2. Long ass cut scenes... that you can't skip

3. Mid-gameplay cut scenes.. that you can't skip, are really long, and make you waste ammo in creatures you don't have to kill.

4. The :Gonna walk slow and hold my ear: waltz.  Srsly... I'd rather have an unskippable cut scene.
