Six Days To Disney

Official countdown has begun.

Snow is coming down.  I have bus duty for two more days so a dayy off from school would be nice.  Bus duty sucks big ones.

One Week To Disney

One week from now, I will be on an airplane heading to Disney.
Thanks mom and dad. This time last year, we went to my parents house for Thanksgiving and dad told me he wanted to take the family to Disney this year for our Christmas present. My dad has been fighting cancer for a few years and I honestly didn't think he would make it to this Christmas. He is doing better now than he was and seems to be his old self. It's also a good thing that they are footing the bill because this crap is expensive. We are staying at the Contemporary Resort which has the tram that runs through the middle of it. All food is paid for and we can go to any park anytime we want. Dad went all out. I would never have been able to swing this on two teachers salaries. The only expense we have is getting to Disney. I wanted to drive and the wife and kids wanted to fly. We are now flying. I just got off the phone with a company that will drive us from the airport to the resort. Everything is now set. I am dreading it. I will be okay once I get there but until then.......

Black Friday and Rabbit/Mistletoe Hunting

Wife got out early this morning to get in the middle of the madness.  I had the boys all day.  Grandma called and said she wanted the boys tonight.  Sounds good.  We loaded up the car and decided to head to the farm to see if we could find a rabbit or two.  Walked around the farm and enjoyed nature.  No rabbits but did find a clump of mistletoe way up in the top of an old walnut tree.  One shot from the old 12 gauge and a big clump of mistletoe.  Maybe daddy can get a little loving when momma gets home.

Hapy Thanksgiving

My 5 year old just asked me what I was thankful for.  I am thankful for my two sons and my beautiful wife.  What are you thankful for?

Netflix and my 360

Can anybody explain how this works?  How long does it take to download a movie?  If this is one of those things were I can push a button and start watching, I might be interested.  Also while I am at it, how do I download a game to my computer and what are the benefits versus just putting the disc in?
