Now she's gone...

So the girl I never have been able let go of married someone else.  Not sure why I always hung on to that love, that hope.  Maybe in our next life.  As long as she's happy then only the best for her.  Think I'll go have a chat with a bottle of Jameson Irish Whiskey.  What a shitty year.

Sleep and the lack of

Essentially since Hurricane Ike blew through, I havne't been able to sleep.  I would say its gradually became worse the last few days.  The few hours I may get aren't that great either.  So here I am, running off sheer will power...I think.  I'm pretty zombified at the moment.  It really doesn't help the Heylow much either.  I've stayed away from the competetive stuff for a bit because of that and the Ike aftermath.  I've just been too tired and worn out to really go at it.  I hope that changes soon though.  I feel the Heylow monster calling, and he doesn't want to play social slayer or squad battle.

Anonymity = Be a jerk?

What is it about XBL, or the internet period, that lets people think they have a free pass to be complete douchebags? 

I was playing Halo tonight with some buddies I grew up with (on my AWOL34 account), and we run into this guy, ONIM0RU.  Here's his bungie link: www.bungie.net/Stats/halo3/default.aspx We were matched up with him twice.  The first time on the opposite team and then on our team.  This guy was out for me.  I'm not sure what I did to him, but he was a non-stop chatter box about me.  If he wasn't outright betraying me, he was dropping my shields enough for the other team to easily kill me.  Maybe I should have been flattered. I have a fan!  All his little comments just ate under my skin.  He wasn't terribly young.  No squeaky voice.  I know he was just another random idiot and I should blow it off, but for some reason I can't seem to shake him.  Kind of put a damper on an otherwise good night. 

If his goal was to be an ass, misson accomplished.  If his goal was to get punched in the face...well I'm sure someone will oblige him one day.  I hope they give him an extra one for me.

Good games...

Played some good games last night.  That was the first time we really were able to play 4's against team 1.  I think that as the night went on we improved.  I have to apologize for the yelling and cursing.  That wasn't directed at anyone, just me being Halo mad.  I'll learn to tone it down one day....Maybe.

Strong...

Strong to very strong is what drum stic would say.  After last night's practice I felt closer to that, but not quite.  Maybe sleep would help.  And with drum stic starting to play again things will be, if anything, more entertaining.  And with the MLG playlist about to hit, the possibility for further improvement should grow.  Very strong.
