MML Season 2 Information

Plans right now is for the league to start after christmas. The rules and trades are being reworked for the benefit of everyone. 

this is just to put a bug in peoples ears and spread the word before signups start in december 

i know there is a lot of you that missed the first season, or saw the post late for sign ups (this is not a sign up). but i would like to reach out to more players of all skill ranges for the next MML to make it the biggest one yet. i think total including all the free agents we may have eclipsed 70 people in season 1. 

this style tournament is for everyone in 2o2p no matter what your skill level, teams are drafted by GM's and there is a balance of skill ranges on each team to level the playing field. 

as for trades, currently the way im envisioning it will work now, is you have 4 members on a team. each players will get a certain point value. each GM will get a cap limit and each roster spot minus the captain will have to be traded one time. this eliminates holding on to players and promotes mixing. by giving players values and GM's cap limits they have to trade that roster spot for equivalent valued players. this is to eliminate trading a 1000 point player for a 5000 point player and stacking a team. but dont let the rules get to you, there more for the GM's i just want everyone to see that we want a balanced even league that everyone can have fun playing in. 

Game types for next season will be a 50/50 mix of MLG and fun game types to ensure there is something for everyone. 

it is a 5 week regular season with a 3 week playoff. each team would play 1 day a week. the day and times will be voted on when the league comes up. 

The purpose of this league is to introduce you to other players you do not normally play with, compete, make friends and have fun! To many times we get wrapped up in our clans or our small groups and dont get to meet all the awesome people in this community. plus we have tons of new players joining the site all the time, this is a great way for them to get involved and for you to get to know them as well.
