Temperature Case Mod for 360

by jonahfalcon| Published: Monday, July 02 @ 00:26:37 EDT

Remember when we posted the story about the temperature case mod for the Wii? We said, “Why, oh, why can’t they make something like this for the Xbox 360, which needs it more?”

Well, someone must have heard our prayers, because they've released a 360 version. Your case will go from a pleasant frosty blue to an angry, Ring of Death-immenent firey red depending on how hot your 360 gets. Of course, the case mod invalidates your warranty, but if you're out of warranty, it sure looks pretty.

Did they get a blind guy to come up with that color scheme? Seriously, BLUE is the last color before red?

Good job, guys. Way to think that one through.

But is it cooler? (Score: 1)

From what I can tell of the description it will notify me of how hot or cool the console is, but does it do any thing to actually keep it cooler? Unless it does that, I don't really care what the temp read out says, the box is still over heating too easily.
