Huxley Video Footage Uncovered

by JonahFalcon| Published: Friday, March 07 @ 20:12:00 EST

Just when you thought it was dead, Huxley makes a reappearance, and frankly, it looks red-hot.

It appears to be everything we thought Tabula Rasa would be. Rasa is good, but honestly, it’s just an MMO third-person RPG/shooter , and not the pure MMOFPS that Huxley will be for the PC and Xbox 360. At least we hope.

This gameplay video shows the action and also character creation. Check it out.

I'm confused. Last I saw, this was going to be a sci-fi MMO. Now its an MMO-FPS. It looks like they give you the option to play in third person as well.
Regardless, it looks pretty good. Anything different to shake up the MMO genre is welcome.

Okay:

1. It was always supposed to be an MMOFPS. It's also science fiction.

2. It's in third person in noncombat areas (ie. in town)

Doesn't show us anything close to what the game promised. If they come through, it will be a great game.

On another note, Tabula Rasa was not good. Didn't do anything new for MMO's, very little content, poor characters, dumb upgrading system, and whored out to the extreme with ads.

Nothing like being in a Sci-fi universe in the distant future...where all the computers are Dell XPS series.

I have been following this game for longer than I can remember.

When I got my new laptop I took in consideration this game, since the PC version is going to come out before the Xbox's one.

When it was picked up.. they were picked up for about 40 million.

Consider that... Based on the demos and everything put out about huxley.. it was still millions away from being a product.

Hundreds apon hundreds of weapons doesn't mean much when there is content to make you play.

The problem with MMOs like this is that they are trying to be all things, an open sand box of a game. Jack of all, Master of none.

And at this point how old is the engine?

Huxley will see the light of day... but will it be too little (content), too late?

when there is LITTLE content to make you play.
