DDR To The Wii

by CodeMonkey| Published: Monday, February 05 @ 09:47:27 EST
In the most obvious of moves, Konami announces Dance Dance Revolution for the Nintendo Wii in 2007.

The title name "Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party," the date? Sometime in 2007. A few new songs in the current test builds of the game:

  • Lips of an Angel by Jet Rockers
  • Gonna Make You Sweat by Rite Attackers
  • Will by Naoki

DDR, for the Wii is unique because it utilizes the feet, as all DDR games, and arms with the Wii-remote controller. This DDR title will require the Wii nunchuck attachment as well for added depth and feel to the already energetic game environment. Shake and roll your way to victory.

Already considered by a few public schools as energy burning after school activities the Nintendo Wii will gain more momentum when Konami pushes this product out the door.

Holy Wii batman. Now we won't have to just worry about broken TV's and ceiling fans, but now we will see tennis elbow, blown rotator cuffs and sprained ankles. Hello heart attack makers welcome to the Wii.

I would be very excited about this title coming to the Wii, if only I had any kind of coordination.

Unless the moves require your hands to go in the same direction I can see some nunchuck restrictions in the future. Not disconnecting though, probably just breaking (since it locks in)

I wasn't really into the Wii but this past weekend the wife and I were over a friends house and we played the Wii for 2 hours... Wii sports and that Rayman game... As much as I was dissapointed in the non HDness of the systems I was pulled in by the games and interactions with the Wii-mote. I had a blast.... and not only that the next day I was SORE from the workout. The wife says to me... "wow, the Wii is much better than I thought... we should get one..." ALRIGHT!!!. now I just need to find one on the store shelves... LOL.

This is the same problem families across the US are having. When they find out the system wasn't all hype and suck they want one... like everyone else. And thus, we have our shortage.
