I finally discovered the home page of this site few days ago...and finally listened to the podcast =)
Just wanted to comment on your comparison of horse racing V. nascar.. and trainers v. mechanics. ... both of you guys are wrong... because both sports have interesting aspects of it =)... and I come from a family that didn't grow up with either, lol. Tuning cars and training horses is quite similar, whenever a human being is involved you have to expect a certain degree of error. It is quite possible to enjoy both without being a country inbred or a horse fucker, haha

I agree, both require talent in which I don't have either. If I could pickup either of these sports and be the best, it would mean the sport has no talent required. But I can't.
