2old2type Ep 47: Double D Bloopfest

by DSmooth| Published: Friday, September 05 @ 09:22:44 EDT

Ladies and gentlemen, Episode 47 of 2old2type Radio, the official podcast of 2old2play.com, is now available. Read on for more information.

DSmooth and Codemonkey cover all the new releases this week, including loads of multi-platform releases. They also cover some of the big news stories of the week, including rumors of a possible E3 renaissance. Add to that a bunch of user submitted questions and a contest announcement, and you have a pretty jam packed show.

Also, thanks to 2old2play's own BATMANKM ( Kirk Manley ), 2old2type Radio has a new logo starting this week... Thanks Kirk!

Dudes, I LOVE sports management games. It's a STRATEGY SIM.

What, you're pissed off in SimCity because you can't actually drive the bulldozer when you knock down a building?

Oh my god i can't believe you guys were all drooling over this game on the podcast and it got like review scores of 1's and shit. It's almost as bad as Graffiti Giraffe or whatever the hell that piece of shit game XBLA game was that holds the current lowest score ever. PvN is like 2nd lowest overall score. It's aweful !

First off...I vote to bring back the "Hey Now..." the start of the podcast just isn't the same without it!

Also, a port of Pirates vs. Ninja Dodgeball is coming to WiiWare later this year. If it has motion controls, then maybe this version will be more fun to play (despite the lower res graphics).

I got's to say the nay-no on this. I think that Smooth's "Hey Now...." is a bit forced/fake in my opinion. Kind of like Smooth's forced/fake attempt at being a man!

Just so you know, Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise has a Just For Fun mode which removes the fighting and the sour pinata but keeps the rest (though on an easier difficulty), so you still have to coax new pinata, but it's easier. Oh, and you have unlimited chocolate coins.

I hated that game and i've played through some absolute shit collecting gamer score. But VP1 is one of the few games i just utterly abandoned. Usually i try and stick it out to at least 700 points or so but i don't even think i made it to 200 in VP. It just sucked, i couldn't get into it, too much nonsense to deal with and overly complex requirements and the fighting all the time, the doctor was coming out ever 5 minutes.

Forget it. I have 0 interest in another VP game.
