FL Cleanup

Did some friend list cleanup today and realized that there are some really old folks there that i havent played in a real long while. I miss playing with those guys. Halo 3 is an old game so its understandable a lot of people have moved on to other good stuff. I on the other hand have not So I just want to blog this for the record that if you got deleted its because you dont play Halo anymore, nothing else. If you play on a different tag send me an FR. It doesnt matter if you played with me recently or not, if you still play Halo there is good chance that i'll catch you online. If not then hopefully you'll be back when Reach hits, so we'll hookup again if you do. In the meantime we'll have the site forums and blogs for all the trash talking, LOL Have fun, peace.

Halo 3 Rocks!!

Wow! I haven't blogged in a while, well all I want to say is already stated in the blog title, thanks for listening. Everyone on my FL playing anything else gets hate mail and repeated Halo 3 invites from me everytime I'm online or even when i'm not online for that matter, forum integration with xbox.com FTW! Eat it suckers!

I went to see the ODST truck =)

Well it was coming to my city and the GameStop is like 5 minutes drive from my home so there was no way i was going to miss, unfortunately the line was too long to go inside the truck and actually play. But i did take some pics of the truck:

Got to play an infection game with Evil Otto and I didnt miss the chance Yes, I'm that recon armor stalker kind of guy I was looking for some shots with some action going on but he was looking down almost all the time, I guess a lot of folks do it to find their way around Blackout.

I like how the left hand gesture is when you're holding the sword, asking you to "come get some" LOL

Man, I wish they'd let you pick black armor color, becuase it just kicks ass.

The Arbiter

I have to admit i have developed a kind of fascianation for the Arbiter character over time, i recently replayed the campaign to checkout some of the things those Ascendant Justice guys talked about in their hindsight halo blogs when i started to realize what bungie has tried to do. Even though the Arbiter feels like an inferior sidekick and doesnt help that much during firefights but if you listen to what he is saying he is actually pretty kick ass, or as much kick ass the chief himself. Unlike Johnosn, or more like chief, he almost never asks for help or fails a mission. In many ways i feel now that he was the real hero of Halo 2, where he stopped the halo from firing and beat the final boss of the game.

Whats most interesting is his transformation in Halo 3, he went from hating the demon that brought him shame by destroying halo 1, and always thinking that humas are inferior [when he said "Were it so easy" in the first mission he basically said "you're nothing"] to becoming completely one with the chief [in the last mission to halo's control center, his shipmaster asks him "would you not come with us brother" and he says "no ... it is our fight and i will see it finished. See what they did, it was the humans' fight and cheif was the one who is supposed to "finish the fight" but now its Arbiter's too and he is finishing it with him] and from there he went to actually having an appretiation for cheif [in the ending sequence when lord hood says "i cant believe he is dead" arbiter says "were it so easy" using the same words he used for himself].

Plus i think Keith David did an awesome job of voicing him.
