getting started

I don't know that I'll write much here as I've just revived my long-neglected website via a new blog (foo.caderidris.net). Just by the way of tossing out a little background, I'm currently working on a master's in comparative literature but once that's done I'll likely go back to my undergraduate focus: art. I'm interested in brushing up my rusty skills and trying to get in on some concept design (particularly character design but flexibility is a necessity!). I currently work in publications doing graphic design, web design and maintenance, and a little journalistic copy editing.
