New Addiction

So I have never really been a PC gamer.  Something about having a controller in my hands always beats a mouse and a keyboard. Well today I broke down and bought Diablo II. I know not the newest thing to play on a computer but hey what can I say. Now I am hooked. That game is like crack, I had also picked up Warcraft 3 battle chest but that can wait for now. I must go back to my killing and looting.

Bodies: The Exhibit

Since I am on Vacation this week, the wife and I decided to do a day trip to Vegas, to see Bodies: The Exhibit at the Luxor. I know there are people out there that may not agree with the exhibit, for various reasons, but we personally enjoyed it.

The exhibit actually did make us think about how we live our life,what we eat and what we don’t do (exercise). I know I have seen things on TV showing this is is what happens if you eat wrong, smoke, don’t exercise; but honestly actually seeing a black heart and lungs, an aorta with bulges in it from being clogged just really hits you.

My wife thought she would be grossed out by the whole thing, but she really enjoyed it. We spent about two hours in the exhibit and at the end of the exhibit they actually let you touch some organs.

Overall I think the exhibit is great.  It gave me a better understanding of the human body and what a marvel it is. And it has hopefully changed my life choices for the better.
