Free Xbox stuff
I'm not sure how this works or even if it works but somehow if you gain enough points by referring people and taking different customer surveys you build up points for free Xbox 360 swag. Anyone try this? I signed up but can't figure out the whole survey thing.

Cambridge Police and Obama
Obama's Quote
"I think it's fair to say, No. 1, any of us would be pretty angry," Obama said. "No. 2, that the Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof that they were in their own home. And No. 3 — what I think we know separate and apart from this incident — is that there is a long history in this country of African-Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately, and that's just a fact."
The Facts:
Officers responded to a burglary call which included a description of two black males breaking into a residence.
Officers arrived and found a black male at the residence and asked for I.D. which is regular procedure at all Police Depts. nation wide.
Subject that was asked for an I.D. became enraged and very vocal and accused the officers of being racist. Officers discovered the black male was the owner of the residence.
As officers were living the black male followed the officers outside into public view and continued to verbally attack them. The black male was causing general alarm to the public due to his yelling outside his home at the police.
According to many state laws the prerequisite for being charged with disorderly conduct is causing general alarm to the public.
The Cambridge Police did nothing illegal.
My Opinion:
This has been blown way out of proportion. The President should have never made a comment on it especially not knowing the facts or MASS. Law. The Police did nothing wrong. It is easy to monday morning quarterback the Police after you have had time to reflect on the outcome but they have only moments to make a decision that will be scrutinized for weeks by the media. If this subject was white no one would have said a word. If this person was white and it was a black officer no one would have said a word. FYI one of the officers on scene was black but only the white officer is being crucified. Does this case involve racism? Yes. The media, the resident, and the President are being racist towards this officer.

How did Jefferson know?
When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe,
we shall become as corrupt as Europe .
Thomas Jefferson
The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those
who are willing to work and give to those who would not.
Thomas Jefferson
It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes.
A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world.
Thomas Jefferson
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the
government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.
Thomas Jefferson
My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.
Thomas Jefferson
No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.
Thomas Jefferson
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.
Thomas Jefferson
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Thomas Jefferson
To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.
Thomas Jefferson
Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:
'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.'
'If you don't read the newspaper you are uninformed, if you do read the newspaper you are misinformed.'
-Mark Twain
