When is this show playing?

Well, I did something this year I normally don’t do. I bought both MLB10: The Show and MLB 2K10. The reason for this is actually pretty simple. I got The Show because it is my game of choice and I love the road to the show mode. I ended up getting 2K on the 360 because my sister, who lives over 3 hours away, wanted to play on live against me. So that is how I ended up with both.

The reason that I am telling this little story boils down to one crazy thing. I can’t stop playing 2K. I played one full game of The Show so far. I have played four games of 2K and multiple games of My Player. Yes, that’s right, I am playing the career mode on 2K and not The Show. It feels like road to the show lite but that is not really a bad thing. I find it to be more relaxing and enjoyable rather than taxing. I ran into something like this with the NBA games. I use Live when I feel like and arcade game and I use 2K when I want a sim. It looks like I am going to have that same choice with MLB. That is not really a bad thing. The only question is…when will I get back to The Show?

Friends list and a new clan on the horizon...I think

 Well as some of you noticed I have cleaned up my friends list...and some of you have.  It is nothing personal.  Just wanted to streamline it a bit.  I know for some 50 some people is not a lot but for me it was.  I just figured I would see you guys around through the rooms that form with other people.

In addition to that I am starting to pull some people together to start a new clan.  I have started with some local friends from around my way.  Mostly people that I hang out with offline.  I am working towards getting the magical 12 needed to get this underway.

Moving On...

 Well DV was taking stock and trimming the fat to get a more efficiently functioning clan.  There was a call to arms and a refocus of play Gears 2 more.  That game was just not in my rotation anymore.  I felt like it was something I had to do on Fridays and not something I wanted to do.  So without prompting I left the clan.  I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of the DVers that I met and gamed with.  It was a short but good ride.  I spoke with Brick and he told me to let me know if I get the itch for Gears again.  I will do that.  So until then I will see you guys around.

Its about damn time...

In a positive twist of fate my school sent me a check for over paying my tuition. The wife let me have one last big purchase before our child arrives. So I picked up a 47" 1080p Vizio. How sweet is that?
