I'm not neurotic, my deptartment just wasn't chosen.

My husband says I'm a pessimist.  I've gone full blown into "Operation Career Change" and have been over the past month, constantly afraid of losing my job.  No patients to scan. They're going to cut me! I scream like a banshee into his ear, and he waves me as a pessimist.

Email. This am.  Time for Coulow to get a weekend job in her new career field in addition to attending college...

We regret to announce that, due to economic conditions, Nick ******’s position was eliminated, forcing his economic layoff.  Nick has been a integral part of CVI and a valuable contributor for the past few years, and we wish him the best.  Economic decisions like this are never easy and we hope, along with everyone, that the situation throughout our community improves in 2010.

I've been with my company for almost 11 years and been living under the ax for about 2 of those. I've learned to adjust and not worry about the nuclear bomb going off on my life. The older you get the harder it is to start over. Good Luck!!!!!

One problem with changing careers is that you're not guaranteed that the 2nd career is more stable. In these times we're all vulnerable to a life altering economic crisis, no matter what the career.
