HALO ART - WK #8 - DARTHS FLOOD COLORED!

I cant believe its already Week 8! This project has really made the wait for Halo 3 for me go by much faster. So thanks to all those who have been following my posts and providing comments and encouragement, its really kept me committed to it. :-) Instead of obsessing about the wait I am too busy focusing on trying to get this weeks post done I wanted to start coloring some of the earlier pieces and finish them up. I was able to get started but it meant I wasn't able to do a new original piece for this week. :-( I chose to complete first the incredibly cool Flood illustration Darth Cestual/Josh Diffy contributed to this project back on week #5. It was very nice of him to help bail me out that week and contribute a piece so i felt I should complete his first :-) If you didn't see his outstanding original pencils on this piece definitely scroll back to week #5 and check em out. Thanks again Darth, I appreciate the help and I always enjoy our collaborations. I hope you like how I have colored your piece. :-)

Hopefully next week I can color another past pencil piece and do a new sketch. Feel free to let me know your thoughts on how this week turned out. Only 5 weeks left till Halo 3 is rocking the hizzhouse!!!!!! :-)

One other thing for this week. What ever you do DONT MISS the awesome Halo Fan Fiction currently featured on the sites community spotlight. Its by fellow 2o2p member and 2old2pwn clan member, WATERBOY. Its an amazing short story that bridges Halo and halo 2 perfectly. It is emotional, and rich in character development. It focuses on ommander Miranda Keyes , my Halo Art subject from 2 weeks ago :-) I highly recommend you give it a read. Find it HERE. Great stuff Waterboy!!!!
