Lucked out??? Non RRoD?

I was on earlier and playing MW2 when the TV went out. At first I'm thinking it's the power in the house bacause of the friendly storm we've had in NJ for the past 3 days. Then I notice the three red slashes on the console....but.... green power light is still up instead of it being red. Have I somehow sidestepped the RRoD? Let the console "cool down" and tried it again 2 hours later. On XBL with xxDr. Killingerxx and everything seems to be fine (I still suck at this game though). For awhile I thought Pork Chop Platoon was going to be without me for 3-4 weeks. Perish the thought.

Has anyone treid to sign on to XBL from their computer? I haven't been able to get on in a few days.

..........oh and the 3 new maps for MW2 are going to be 1200 MS pts Complete and utter BS..

Lovely snow storm here in the Atantic Highlands with dangerous conditions that I'll get to sample tomorrow morning. Oh the joy!

Mass Effect 2 is great. BioShock 2 is meh. Dead Space 2 (which isn't out yet) sucks.

Warranty for MW2?

Intermittently I'm getting a "disc error" message for Modern Warfare 2. My internet is terrible and after 5 minutes of waiting for the I.W. page to not load I just wanted to know if these things have any kind of warranty? Of course I'm *thisclose* to the end of level 70 so I can go Prestige.................

Back to Ghetto

Oh what a delightfull weekend. Gamestop: Traded in PSP and 2 games and recieved a $90.00 credit so I picked up Mass Effect 2 and still have $39.00 on the EDGE card. Yesterday playing some MW2 my $100.00 Turtle Beach X31's give up the ghost........AND......... I "misplaced" the receipt so now I have to have the crummy XBox headphone on one side of my skull and the TV headphones attached to other side of Homer's head. Guess the credit that's left is kaputsky.

Now if I were a reanimated Zombie this problem would be moot because my squishy skull can't hold the damn things on. This reference of course leaves me open for the, "my face hurts " comment.

New Maps for MW2 1st week in March

So I''m at level 63 and getting close to Prestige after playing MW2 for 3d 4h 20s. Not great I know, but if I had the pleasure of being in a match with Pork Chop Platoon sooner I'm sure level 70 would have come and gone many hours ago.

A current state of perplexity or doubt now exists. Do I work on getting to 70 this week and try at least to get back to 30 by March 9th (or whenever we see the new maps), or play less and be "up there" for the new DLC?   Yes Wipsy and Old Velcro have gone Prestige 11 times already, but I don't want to be left out in the cold with a Red Ryder and a firecracker. 

If FISH mentions something about Zombies I'm gonna smack 'em. I swear.
