Um, yeah...

Ok, I knew I wasn't amongst the oldest gamers on the site. Just checkin' to see if anyone would notice the post.

After yet another useless day of 'work', the only thing I've accomplished is listening to +80 tracks on the ipod. In ten hours I had 1.5 hours of work-like activity. After that was insurance - being present and available in case a major production system misplaces a bit and crashes. All the usual sysadmin duties...

On the music front - listen to +80 tracks on ipod and then come home and rate the ten you can remember. Just 6580 tracks that still need rating...

Looking forward to this week - I should be able to schedule some time to get back to GoW. Maybe even start fear. Yowzah!

Gotta scratch my head about that family pic LadyisRed posted on her blog. Add some yellow aging and the photo could come out of a 60's christmas photo shoot. Interesting how everything changes in so many decades, but then some other things still look the same (or maybe it was staged that way).

First post!!!1!

Hey you punks, get off the lawn! Why, in my day we weren't so insolent to our elders, or we would get beat and good!

Looking briefly at the ages on the blogs here, I guess I'm one of the oldest gamers here. Funny that. I don't realy feel old; I feel slightly stoned. Oh, yeah, got a buzz going. I gotta watch the speed on the lift-chair. Crimey!

So, I've been playing GoW on the 360. Wow, this is a whole lot better than pong. This is even better than UT2004 on the pc. The reviewers hit it right giving this generally great reviews. Then again, I bear in mind that I haven't finished it nor taken the multi-player for a spin. I'm waiting on trying the multi-player until I can get some more time to get used to the controls and I have a long stretch of time to spend. Time is not something that I have a lot of to spend on gaming or trivial pursuits.
