Dragonforce

I'd never really heard too much of Dragonforce before Guitar Hero 3 came out, and I realized how much ass they kicked.  I still go back and play their DLC for that game from time to time.  'Through the Fire and Flames' sticks in my head at random times, so I decided to make a Dragonforce channel on Pandora.

Sweet cripes man.  I had no idea how many of these bands were out there and they sound EXACTLY the same.  On what kind of alternate plane of reality do these guitar players reside? I know a very little bit about guitar and I can't figure out how anyone could move the pick that fast except maybe the Flash or God himself.  I'd try to watch a video but I'm pretty sure any shots of the hand would just show a blur that looked like little rascal-style sped-up action film.

Are there any Dragonforce fans out there? Can you tell the REAL Dragonforce from any one of the bands who sound exactly like them? I always thought Iron Maiden songs were ungodly hard guitar solos but for some reason Dragonforce music doesn't even sound humanly possible.

Is there any way to imbed Hulu video? I don't think so. Anyway this skit from a few weeks ago still makes me laugh my ass off. The tune is so catchy, I find myself singing it at random times.  Here is the link, although I find myself doubting anyone will click on it

Also with all this talk of clans and inactivity, I have become a little sad because I realized my clan just doesn't give a rat's ass or they would have kicked me out a long time ago. And I could really use a rat's ass if they gave one. So fuck you Clanarchy you ambivalent assholes.

Ram

I would like to balance out my negative blog from yesterday with a positive one today.  Here is a commercial that makes me laugh every single time I see it. I even use the rewind on the DVR to watch the impact over and over again.  Just how the hell do you train a ram to pound someone's nuts like that? Or maybe it is just a natural ability they have.  It just looks to real to be any type of CG, I am a firm believer that they had a ram plow into a guy at least twice to make this commercial and nothing you say will make me think otherwise.
