PCP Survivor Season 1

The first season of PCP Survivor began Friday night. At the start, we had 4 no shows - HunterFu, djlowder, Mistress Violet and McSnafu. So that gave an opportunity for Jagerwick, Dr. Killinger, bnobs and Dave the Great to join the games. So with all the positions filled, we began Season 1.

First game started with Lord hosting. After a brief welcome, the game started without warning as the players were thrown into a FFA match. Although the lag was terrible (Due to Lord's connection) the players fought through it and survived. It was this match that would determine who would be the team captains. It was predetermined based on final standings who would be the team captains and turned out to be Dave the Great for the Red team and Coulow for the Blue team. Due to Lords poor connection, Slee started a new room and everyone moved to that room. Teams were picked by the captains and we moved onto the Reward challenge.

Reward Challenge
It was TDM but with a twist. It was a HC, 3 life TDM played as a FFA on Scrapyard. Last man standing would win the reward challenge for their team. The idea was each team would have to work together as names would not show up unless you had the reticule on a player and would have to take note to identify first before shooting as you could eliminate some of your own teammates. Even at the start, several players mentioned that Slee had left it on FFA, not TDM. Slee responded with I know. Several players did get eliminated by their own teammates and it came down to 1 player, PMA for the Red team and 2 players on the Blue team, whizzups and Bohicaxson (I think) for the Blue team. PMA had 2 lifes remaining while whizzups and Bohicaxson each had 1 life remaining. In the end, PMA lost and the Blue team was successful.

Blue had won the challenge and Whizz, being the last man standing, had to choose a Red team member to get a clue to the whereabouts of the hidden immunity idol. (Idol is an object on one of the maps) Whizz chose PMA to receive the clue. After that was decided, the Blue team earned the choice to either go first or second during the Immunity challenge. They chose to go second.

Immunity Challenge
The IC was held on Wasteland and would be a race to see which team could capture 10 flags the fastest. Each team would get a shot at capturing the flag as TF141 using any default class. The Red team would go first and start as task Force 141 and begin at their flag. They would have to run through the trench to the opposite side, get the Spetznaz flag and return. Only 1 runner at a time would traverse the trench at a time in hopes of capping the flag quickly. The blue team would start as the Spetznaz and could only throw secondary grenades, flash, stun or smoke in hopes of slowing down the flag runners. They had to stay on their side of the bunkers and could not kill a flag runner or else incur a penalty. Penalties were as such, killing a flag runner = 30 second penalty, leaving the trench to cap the flag= 30 second penalty, entering the trench and blocking a flag runner=10 sec penalty. This would be important in determining the winning tribe.

After a brief walk through, the game would start with the Red team going first and the Blue team defending. At the 14:00 minute mark, the first runner would begin. The first runner for the red team, bnobs came through the bunker and proceeded to the flag. However, it looked like he did not capture the flag and realized this and returned to capture it. The game proceeded with members of the red team running and the blue team throwing everything they could to slow them down. The red team ended up with a final score of 7:37 as their final time.

Now it was the Blues turn to run. They had the opportunity to observe the red team and actually gave them a slight advantage seeing how it would work. The blue team did well although Bigtandlilt got flashed banged at the flag, was confused and headed the wrong direction, he quickly realized and was able to make his way but it did cost them a few precious seconds. The final score for the Blue team was 7:44 seconds thereby appearing they had beat the Red team by 7 seconds.

After the game, the blue team was dismissed as it seemed red team would be heading to Tribal Council and vote off a team member. At this time someone on the red team mentioned that Coulow was in the trench and asked if that was a penalty. Slee and Lord went into a party chat to discuss and make a ruling. After discussing the incident in party chat, it was determined that the rules stated the opposing team was not allowed to be in the trenches at any time and in fact, Coulow had been in the trenches during one of the red teams run. This would mean the Blue team would incur a 10 second penalty resulting in a score of 7:34 versus a score of 7:37 for the red team. Red team won the challenge by 3 seconds as a reult of the penalty and would result in the Blue team going to tribal Council instead of the Red Team.

After bringing back in the Blue team members and explaining the decision, the blue team would have to vote off a member. Decisions had to be made but Metalian had signed off for a bit. We would have to wait until he came back on to vote.

When Metalian returned, the Blue team would go meet with Lord in Wasteland where each member would line up along the wall near the church and send Lord a message on who they would vote out. The player receiving the most votes would be voted off (MW2 style). After the votes were sent and recorded, they came out in this order:

BigTand lilt= 2 votes
Coulow = 2 votes
Gammonmaster = 3 votes
whizzups=1 vote

With Gammon receiving 3 votes, he was the first player voted off PCP Survivor Season 1.

The games were fun, well played and entertaining. There was a lot of communication going on but it came down to 3 seconds determining the winner.

Welcome to PCP Survivor!

2pwn's Survivor video week 3

You've read Rogue's writeup and now I present the video. Courtesy of Walladog!

2old2pwn's Survivor 2 - Coag Week 3

On Friday, May 18th, 2old2pwn's Survivor 2 - Coag, hosted it's third game of the new season. Last week, The losers of week one, Yanme'e Tribe, defeated their opponents, Tribe Kig-Yar, in both the reward and the immunity game. Their win sent Kig-Yar to tribal council where Cowboy Bates was voted out. This put Kig-Yar down one player against Yanme'e.

As the Week Three game began, everyone wondered would the 5 members of Kig-Yar: Durnan, Selden007, water3rboy1011, Yountdog7, and IACO be able to recover from last week's defeat or would the six members of Yanme'e: hilskie, GOPHERGOAT, DaKingpin55, MzFreud, GatesisTheDevil, and KidMach send them back to Tribal Council?

Since they were up by one player, Yanme'e would have to sit out one player from each challenge. The decision was made for them when KidMach failed to show for the challenges. With 5 players present for each team, the games began.

REWARD CHALLENGE - BOMDIGGITY ON COAGULATION

The first game of the night was a game of Team Assault on Coagulation. At this point, the Survivors knew the rules wouldn't be their standard game and they weren't disappointed. When the game began, Kig-Yar retrieved their bomb and the entire team gathered on top of Yanme'e's Base. Yanme'e  took their bomb to the top of Kig-Yar's Base. At the signal from Restructor RogueRedneck, the bomb carrier from each team would run down the ramp to a waiting Warthog where they would then race in a Figure 8 across the map and around both bases. They would park the Warthog where they began and run back on top of their starting base. Here they would drop the bomb where another teammate would pick it up and repeat the circuit. This continued until the last player for the team returned to the starting base. Here they would drive under the base, go up the lift, and plant the bomb. The first team to successfully detonate their bomb won reward.

With everyone claiming they understood the rules, the signal was given and the relay began. Kig-Yar got off to an early lead in the first circuit but was unable to hold to it as Yanme'e eased into a very tight lead. As the last racers for each team began their circuit, the players for Kig-Yar were heard coaching their last hope, Yount, that he HAD to ram the Yanme'e Warthog and overturn it. Yount gave it his best effort but, despite ramming Kingpin's Warthog twice, was unable to stop him.

In the end, the margin of victory came down to mere seconds. The announcement that Kingpin is arming the bomb hit our screens as Yount, was coming up the lift to arm his bomb and that led to ]Yanme'e squeaking out another victory.

This gave Yanme'e a reward to help them in the immunity game and also send a member of Kig-Yar to exile island and they chose waterboy.

IMMUNITY GAME - BARREL ROLL ON FOUNDATION

The rules of this game were simple. The entire team would work together to move the three barrels in Room Two across the top walkway into Room One. The key was to keep the barrels from falling into the lower level as this would add a lot of time and hurt their chances.

This is where the reward was announced. Since they won the reward game, Yanme'e was informed that they would get 5 seconds knocked off their final time AND would get to go second in the challenge. This meant that they would be allowed to observe, but NOT interfere with, Kig-Yar to see what strategy worked (or failed) for their opponents.

When the game started, it initially looked good for ]Kig-Yar but the challenge proved to be more difficult than anticipated. With two barrels safely within Room One, tragedy hit Kig-Yar when]Durnan and waterboy inadvertantly rolled the last barrel into the lower level. The team rallied and moved the barrel back onto the top level and fought hard to get it to Room One. They were not so fortunate and once again knocked their last barrel off the walkway. With one final push, Kig-Yar got the last barrel into Room One.

The game was reset and it was now Yanme'e's turn. It appeared that they had used their reward wisely because Yanme'e immediately were able to work as a team and get the first two barrels into Room One. With the last barrel hanging behind, Yanme'e  gathered and, working as a team, got it into Room One.

With that, the challenge was over and the results were given,

Kig-Yar - 1:46:38

Yanme'e  - 0:50:40

This meant that for the second week in a row, Yanme'e, had won immunity and Kig-Yar was going to Tribal Council to vote out one of it's members.

TRIBAL COUNCIL - COAGULATION

The players lined up in the trench facing Restructor Rogue with Restructor Kerdaq waiting behind them to assassinate the loser of the night's vote.

The votes were tallied and Durnan became the third person voted out with a final tally for Durnan - 4 and waterboy - 1.

Will Yanme'e continue to ride high on their 4 game winning streak or will their luck finally run out? Can Kig-Yar find a way to bring their team into focus and fight their way out of Tribal Council?

Stay tuned for next week's episode when we find out who of the remaining 10 Survivors will be outwitted...outplayed...and outlasted.

2pwn's Survivor 2

We started 2old2pwn's Survivor Season 2 on Friday. I would like to thank 2old2play, 2old2pwn, Survivors and especially the Restructors: Count Fartula, GIJoeBob, RogueRedneck, Mr Sleestak and Walladog. Wouldn't be able to do it with you guys.

Look for Walladogs video of the first night in the very near future.

Survivor 2 - Coagulation

On Friday, May 4th, 2old2pwn's Survivor 2 - Coag, began with 13 players -hilskie, GOPHERGOAT, selden007, wat3rboy1011, DaKingpin55, Durnan, MzFreud, GatesisTheDevil, Yountdog7, IACO, KidMach, Cowboy Bates and Armor MkIV all vying to stay in the game for a chance to be the ultimate survivor for Season 2.

Season 2, Coag, began with no teams pre-determined. The teams would be decided by a FFA match on Warlock. However, per typical Survivor, there would be a twist. The FFA match on Warlock would be a Betrayl match. The survivors were informed that the goal was to get ejected from the game as soon as possible. Energy sword was the weapon of choice, (No other weapons were on the map)each player would be on the same team except the Restructors who would wear the yellow armor. Contestants were informed that killing a Restructor would result in penalties. The idea was to betray your teammate who in turn would "boot" you from the game. Contestants "booted" would join another room being hosted by Slee.

With that in mind the chaos began.....and true to the Restructors word, KidMach got the boot from Restructor Rogue for killing the film Restructor Walla. After it was all said and done, only DaKingpin55 remained. For being the last remaining player, DaKingpin55 was informed he would get to go to "Exile isalnd" where he would get a clue to the location/object known as the hidden idol. He would also get to miss the first Immunity challenge but would return in week 2 to the tribe to replace a player voted off. But first, DaKingpin would have to choose 2 numbers between 1-12. These 2 numbers would determine who would be the team captains and they would choose the teams. With that being complete, DaKingpin was gone knowing he had survived the 1st week.

The 2 numbers chosen by DaKingpin were held by Seden007 and MzFreud. They were both sent invites to rejoin the room. Once they arrived, they were informed that their numbers were chosen by DaKingpin and they would choose their teams based on picking numbers from 1-10. So with that in mind, MzFreud, representing the red team began choosing. The picks went back and forth until all numbers were chosen. With that complete, the remaining players were invited back in.

With all players back in the room, the survivors were informed of their new team colors before we began the Immunity challenge. In no particular order: Red Team: MzFreud, hilskie, ArmorMkIV, KidMach, Gophergoat, GatesisTheDevil and the Blue Team: Selden007, Wat3rboy1011, Cowboy Bates, Yountdog7, Durnan, and IACO. Now onto the Immunity challenge.

Immunity Challenge

This event would take place on Coagulation. First team to get all their players to their base and capture the enemies flag would win immunity. The losing tribe would go to Tribal Council immediately afterwards.

Both teams would start in the bottom of the enemies base except 1 survivor who would begin in the middle of the map. Restructors would ride "gunner" in each warthog to officiate the game. Once everyone was in place, word was sent to Lord who was waiting to start the race. Boom, the game began. Both starting drivers had to run to their base, get a warthog, race back to the enemies base, enter into the bottom portion of the base, pickup a passenger and then return to their base. Once they arrived at their base, they would stop at either of the side entrances leading up to the top of the base. The driver would get out, race up to the top while the passenger got out and became the new driver. This would continue until the last player in the base who would grab the flag and await transport. They would then proceed to their base, drop off the flag carrier at the front entrance who when then plant the flag for the victory. It was a close race and at one point the 'hogs collided but it was the Blue team who was able to squeak out a victory. The Blue team had won Immunity and therefore safe from Tribal Council in week 1. The Red team had the dreadful task of voting out a player from their team.

Tribal Council on Coagulation

Survivors were informed to line up and face Restructor Lord and send a text message as to who they wanted to vote out. The votes were close as Lord tallied up the votes. So with 3 votes, Lord sent a message to Restructor Rogue who had the dubious honor of "assassinating" the first weeks castaway. With that in mind, Rogue calmly walked behind each contestant, stopping here and there and then finally, performing the cruel deed. With that, we had our first castaway, ArmorMkIV. However the red team would get a replacement in week 2 when Dakingpin would join the Red team.

Final voting: ArmorMkIV - 3 votes, KidMach - 2 votes and MzFreud - 1 vote.

And so with that, 2old2pwn's Survivor 2 - Coagulation began

Be on the look out for the video, coming soon from Walladog
