Today's Trivia Fun-Fact

 The North American Yellow Pages Association (YPA) distributed over 540 million telephone books last year.  That's 1.5 books for every man, woman, and child in the country.

I've not used a paper telephone book to look anything up in close to ten years.  But I can't stop people from delivering them!  Yesterday another five-inch stack showed up on the front porch.  What an incredible waste of time and environmental resources!

The name on the bottom of the covers is AT&T Advertising Solutions.  I'm having a hard time deciding whether to recycle them or return them to the nearest AT&T wireless store....which would be infinitely more fun.

I really doubt this will help, but I opted out today.  I'm sure Cletus the phone book delivery cretin probably doesn't check the list.

Today's Trivia Fun-Fact

The mammal with the largest penis is the blue whale.  Blue whale schlongs have been measured as long as eight feet.

This is sort of to be expected as the blue whale is also the largest mammal overall.  Scaled proportionately to human-size, a blue whale penis would only relatively measure 3.9" on a human male.

Also, the mammal with the smallest penis both overall and relatively is the elusive pink monkey.  Strangely though, no one has ever claimed he's not a big dick.

Today's Trivia Fun-Fact

 The first Foo Fighters album was entirely a Dave Grohl solo project.  He wrote all the lyrics and music.  Additionally, he sang all vocals and recorded all instrumental tracks on the album.

The rest of the band was assembled to support the tour after the project began to garner popular and critical success.

I still personally don't really care for the band, but that is a pretty amazing musical talent.
