WTF are the banks doing?

Ok, so I own my own business, I am a farmer. Farming is great sometimes and really sucks at times, but most things are that way. I am a die hard believer in not keeping all your eggs in one basket, so I am trying to get 2 more business up a going. One is a carpet cleaning business and the other is a pressure washing business. I have all the equipment needed for the pressure washing business so I need no money to start this business. The carpet cleaning business however is going to take about $50k to start up. So I went to my bank that I use for my farming. I had to talk to a different load officer than I usually do because this is considered "Commercial Lending". This kid has less education than me and is way younger than me, and has way less experience than me. So I present him with my request and here is the deal he shot me. WARNING**** sit down and tape your head, it may explode. I need $50K for my business, he tells me that if the equipment is worth 30K then he can lend me 80% of that. Well that equals 24K so I still need 26K. He wants me to put 26K into a CD at 1.5% interest as collateral against him loaning me 26K at 5.5%.???????WTF I have the 26K plus some but YTF would I take this deal. Basically I would be paying 4% to use my own money. I do a lot of business with this bank and have an excellent record with them. I have land financed for less than 1/2 what it appraises for. I also get my operating loan for my farm from them, which was not due to be paid back until March and I paid 2 weeks ago. WTF

WALMART SUCKS ASS!!!!!!!!!

So let me start off by saying that Walmart SUCKS large amounts of ASS! I went to Walmart yesterday to buy some 22 caliber ammo. I build custom 22 rifles and use a lot of ammo target shooting. So I am at Walmart in sporting goods and tell the lady back there that I would like to buy some ammo. So I look at what they have and they have about 30 boxes of CCI Mini Mags 22 long rifle. So I tell the lady that I would like to buy all 30, and then she proceeds to tell me that she can only sell me 6 boxes. I ask why, and this ignorant ass tells me it is the LAW. I tell her that there is no such law and tells me oh yes there is, it is a walmart law. Well I wasted my time arguing with her so I tell her to get her manager. The manager tells me the same thing. Now these items are not on sale, they are actually a little over priced, but I need a lot more than what they have so I will buy that. Well needless to say I only got 6 boxes. Later that night I take my wife back up there and this same lady and manager tell me they can't sell me any more ammo cause of my quota. I tell them I am not buying any that my wife is. They say the same thing. I told them that she is a different customer and that if they don't want to sell her any ammo that is fine, I am going to need the video tape. I tell them that if they do not sell my wife ammo that we will be back in the morning with a lawyer and a lawsuit for refusal of service for no reason. I am no lawyer but I am sure I can find a reason to file a law suit against walmart and a lawyer who will be happy to take the case. Well they decide to sell to my wife. I go back this morning and buy another 6 boxes of the same ammo, and I tell the lady that I would like to buy 6 more boxes of different kinds of ammo. She tells me that my limit is 6 total boxes of ammo, regardless of what caliber. WALMART SUCKS DONKEY ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I call the 800 customer service hotline and guess what they tell me. They take my info and tell me that someone will call me back within 2 weeks, now that my friends is fine American customer support at its finest. Walmart is evil and our country is going to shit in a hurry!!!!!!

LISTEN FOR THE POP!

When you hear the loud POP that is going to be my head exploding! So I was watching CNN this morning, I know I need to quit, there was this lady on the stock exchange floor talking about new unemployment numbers that are out. They had her in a small box in the upper corner of the screen and behind her in the rest of the screen are the numbers for the day. Then this other lady comes out and is talking about how everyone’s 401k is in the shitter and headed even farther south. I swear to me it looked like they were trying to see if what they were saying was going to cause the market to drop. I wish someone would have just drop kicked the bitch on the market floor. Once again the phrase for today is: WTF

My name is Flywalker and I am a news JUNKY! I am trying to quit my addiction. How many people on this website watch the news? I am going to make a guess that the number is around 100%. I love watching the news. I feel the need to be informed about what is going on in the world. The news is a better story than any of the writers in Hollywood can conceive. Unfortunately today’s news is ever increasingly depressing. On Sunday nights CBS airs 60 minutes this is one of my favorite news shows, as long as Katie Curic is not on it. This past Sunday this show had 2 stories that got my blood to boiling. The first story was about Bernie Madoff. This human piece of shit needs to be taken into the middle of New York and have every body part torn off violently one at a time. I am not sure about this part, but I bet there is someone in the SEC that was getting paid off to look the other way. Once this person is found they too should suffer horriblely. The second story was about all the drug violence in Mexico. All I have to say about this is WTF. How does a govt. let thugs start ruling their country? My other question is how long until this violence moves off our borders and into our cities and homes at the level that is occurring in Mexico? My whole point to this rambling is the news is nothing but depressing. There are no GOOD stories. Maybe we should all just turn off our TVs and turn on our video games!

WHAT THE FUCK????????
I am self employed, unfortunately and fortunately. As most people know I farm for a living. I hate farming by the way. I have been watching the stock market and the commodity market today. I sell my crops on the commodity market not the stock market. As most people who have not been hiding in a cave the economy is completely in the shitter! The stock market fell below 7000 today and the commodity markets have also been falling, and fell a good bit today. When the FUCK is this shit going to stop? If I lived in a big city with tall sky scrapers, I would start watching for falling people. I just can’t find anything good lately. Crude oil fell more than $4 today so why the fuck is it still $1.70. Gold and silver are also down today. Unemployment is high. I have a solution to this problem however. If we kick out all the illegal immigrants then that will open something like over 10 million jobs. I am glad that I am self employed because at least I don’t have to worry about being laid off. However, being self employed means that if things get any worse I am going to be unemployed and let me tell you something. Try going to get a job and going to an interview and telling the interviewers that you are used to being in control and the boss. They will not even give enough time to explain what you did in your business before they say thank you we are going in a different direction. Well the Dow just closed and it looks like it is going to close down around 300 points. I am not happy today!!!!!!!

Why for the love of god are gas prices going up?

I read a news story today about how oil is slipping to new lows, yet gas prices are going up due to refineries cutting back on production. Now I realize the the oil companies are not to blame for our nations current economic shit hole, but mother fucker,,,,,,they sure as hell did not help the fuck out at all when they made gas go to over $4. One of the reasons a lot of people could not pay there mortgages, other than they had no business buying a champaign house on a RC Cola budget, is because they had to make a choice. Put $100 worth of gas in a YUGO to go to work to be able to at least eat, or sit at home for the next 3 months eat and wait on the forclosure to set in. I am no for govt stepping in and running everything, but something has to be done. I think we as a nation should start a boycott on gas for about a week. That should be enough to get the greedy fucks attention. Oh by the way Exxon Mobile posted record profits at a time when every other company is folding up and going home.

In case you have not noticed I am extremely pissed off about this. I am sorry if this blog does make sense. I feel better now.

Here are a few numbers to make you sick.

Our population according to the 2000 census was 281,421,906. I am sure it has gone up since then but I dont have those numbers, so just go with me on this.

The total cost of the Bail out plan, the stimulus plan, and the other money promised to other programs according to CNN today is 3.3 trillion dollars. I want my taxes back but that ain't happening. So here go a fe numbers to make your head explode.

3.3 trillion dollars is enough to give 91.66 million americans $36000 dollars, or 110 million americans $30000 dollars.

Let say the average home in america cost 250,000 dollars( I am not sure of this but it seems reasonable) 3.3 trillion would pay off 13.2 million home mortgages.

3.3 trillion dollar would employ 10 million americans for 11 years at 30000 dollars per year.

3.3 trillion would give every man, woman, and child in the United States (according to 2000 census) 11726 dollars.

Now I know everyone here can do math and these numbers are not all that hard to come up with, SO why the hell can our elected officials not use a calculator? I realize that just giving money away is not the answer. I am sitting here trying to do my penny anni little budget for my farm and with today current prices i cant make it work out. So as i sit here and watch all the news and the economists talking about what all this money is going to do, I am curious to how I can get my hands on just a little of that money. What little bit i need will not even be 1 minute's worth of interest on that 3.3 trillion dollars. That is all I would need to balance my budget and probably have enough left over to hire a part time person to help during the busy part of the year. So here are some figures for that:

The interest on 3.3 trillion dollars at 5.5% annually(this is the interest rate at which i am paying on land i just bought) is exactly $3143.60 per second. That is $188616.00 per minute. Yea I can make my numbers work on that and pay for a full time person and live fat on the hog while doing it.

Weight Loss--Week 2

Well today is weigh in for week two of the diet that my wife and I are on. We are doing weight watchers online. This week was a tough week for our diet. We had a lot of social engagements this week. There was a lot of eating out and at parties. As anyone knows it is hard to stay on a diet when you are busy with work and social engagements. On the other hand my wife is absolutely an amazing cook and she has been able to cooks some good, healthy meals that were delicious. As of yesterday at lunch we are fully back on track with our diet. We are using the Weigh Watchers online. It is great because we can track what we are eating. It is very simple to use and by tracking what we eat and how many points it is worth, it makes us very alert to what we are eating. I think this is helping as much if not more than eating healthy. We now to the part you have been waiting for. This week my wife only loss a half pound, she is pissed and now is more determined. I think this week, week 3, is going to be a big loss week. My loss, for week 2, is just 2 pounds. This really pissed my wife off becasue basically I really fell off our diet. I was not trying as hard because I did not want to blow my wife out on the amount loss. The first week I loss 6 and she only loss 3, she was pissed but not surprised. Well on with week 3. Next update on the diet next Monday.

Global Warming Does Exist!!

I know most of you are think that the global warming thing is bullshit. The temps around the country are at record lows and overall we are having record snow fall. I just read C_dog's blog and he lives in Jefferson city MO. I live in Memphis tn. When I was a kid (i am 36) we used to get snow here. It would snow 1-3 inches 3-4 times a year. Our temps would be in the single digits sometimes, teens often, 20's everynight. Our summers would be hot but not as hot as we have now. Our temps during the summer would be in the 90's but would rarely hit 100 or even go into101-110, and never above 110. Cdog lives in central mo, and according to his blog he wants snow and is not getting any. When I was a kid they got a lot of snow in that area. Now today here is what we have here. We dont see snow at all, we dont even see ice anymore. We rarely even get below freezing(current cold excluded)(even a blind squirrel finds a nut everyonce in a while). they will predict snow flurries for use a couple times during the winter but it never happens. My theory on this prediction is that the grocery stores need a boost. When winter weather is predicted here it causes a full on panic. Our summers are hot as hell( i love them by the way) we will have 3 weeks of it easily hitting over a 100 everyday and will often get to 110. This kinda sucks because i am a farmer and it really hurts my crops and my income. It very rarely rains between july 1 and sept 1. I bet we won't get 2-3 inches of rain during those months. I keep reading in everyones blog about how they want spring and for the snow to stop. There is a theory in agriculture that all the snow that occurs in the midwest and north is one of the reasons for such fertile soil in that area. I believe Global warming is partially true. I believe that the world is warming up, however I also believe that it is cyclical. One day we will have scientist telling us how we are causing global cooling. Well thats it for today, Monday I will be blogging about the diet that my wife and I are on. Till then stay warm you lucky snowed in bastards.

Well it is a new year,& time for a new Blog

Well it is a new year and with the new year come new resolutions. I had several resolutions and normally I never make resolutions. This year mine were to loose weight, I weigh 260 pounds and I am 5ft 10in tall. So by that math I am a fatass. Not really but I am getting there quickly. My wife and I have started weight watchers. We are now into week 2. When we started I weight 256 even. Now on Monday morning I weighed in for the first time and I weigh 249.8, that is a loss of 6.2. My wife however only lost a little over 3 pounds. She is very pissed. She has decided that it is not fair that men loose weight faster than women. We are using the online subscription with WW. We keep track of our daily food intake. It is working very well so far. By keeping up with what we are eating we are loosing weight. We unfortunately are not exercising. When summer roles around we are going to start playing golf. So far I alotted 39 points a day plus and extra 35 a week. I always have at least anywhere from 3 to 14 points. I dont know anything about my wife points. I hope next Monday to show another considerable loss. I have other resolutions but I wont go into them in this blog.

Let the shit Flow!

Well i started my new job on the 16th of march. I am working in corrections on the big scale. I dont want to post exactly who i work for because of good ole google. I am working with criminals and they are in the big house. This is the most unique job i have ever had. Of course i have only farmed so it is definitely different. These guys are really stupid. I keep having to remind them they are in prison. Here is how stupid these guys are. They keep clogging there toilets on purpose and flooding there cubicles with shit and sewage. It just doesnt make since but they keep doing it. I told them today that they were not hurting anyone but themselves. The correctional officers dont have to clean or anything, the inmates have to clean there own shit. So basically they are clogging there own toilets, flooding there own cubicles, and then having to clean there own shit. So it was a very interesting day today.

Most of my days are spent patting down the inmates coming out of the chow hall. We are checking for stolen milks, cookies, or fruit. they make hooch out of the fruit. It is the nastiest shit you will evr smell and they drink this shit. If you want to experience what it is like to be a federal correctional officer in a low security prison, just go your local elementary school stand outside and pat down the kids coming out looking for cookies and milk that they are carrying out and make them through it away. That is 8 hours of my day. The rest is directing human traffic,,,,,pretty boring.

Well that is my day in a nut shell.
