Finals

So I have finals the week after I return from the LAN.  Trying to decide whether I bring the books to the LAN and force myself to have some study time, or just bag the studying till I get back and spending 12-16 hours on both Mon and Tues cramming.  The smart thing to do would be to study a little bit each day I am there to retain the information better, but knowing myself, I think I would just haul all my books/notes/shit with good intentions and they would sit in the corner all week.

Maybe I'll just bring one class worth and do some stuff on the plane...    I think I wont be interested, or I might even be a little too hungover to do much while I am there.

On the bright side, new WoW patch and content came out this morning, so people may not end up seeing a lot of us WoW dorks in Chicago while we are huddled up in our dark corner... ;D  I had planned on a little W@W but maybe not now.

The Old Comes Out!

So this was my old band...way old...like 90's.  We were pretty much kids, but some good times.  Anyway I had no idea that one of the guitarists had put this on a myspace page.  Some of my clannies knew that I used to rock out, but no one has probably heard any of it.

Anyway, thought I would toss it up here for some giggles.  No shit talking..again, we were young guys doing it to rock out and hang with buddies..and to occasionally pull in a cute rocker hottie.

iPhone

Jumped on the iPhone bandwagon this week.  Wow, what a cool phone.  The wife and I got the 3GS versions.  Having been a Blackberry user for the last 6+ years, I thought I knew what I was missing by not getting an iPhone.  I was the guy on that competitor phone commercial that is running an inner monologue about how cool the phones were that his two friends were showing him while speaking out loud about how "he just makes calls". 

So been working through the small learning curve on this thing and a couple of days later all I can really say is how this thing "RAWKS!!"  Put a couple of the apps that I knew I wanted on it already (Shazam, Tweetie, Flixster) and am on the hunt for others.  Anyone have any recommendations that rI eally absolutely cant miss on?  I have read some feedback that putting too many apps on the phone can really slow it down, so I definitely would like to keep it clean.  Don't want 50 crappy games...maybe even games at all...I already have a DS and PSP and I think those cover my gaming needs.  I can surf the top 100, so really kind of looking for the "under the radar" hits that any of you know about.
