Feeling inadequate at times

I had a long day of carnage yesterday on COD4. I came to the realization last night, @ 2am there's that schedule thing again, that I usually drag the teams I play on down. when the stats post after a match, mine are, for a lack of a different word, pathetic at best. The fact that no one on my teams, 2o2pers, ever says anything i wonderful. But I know that I am inadequate, as a teammate and in general over all. Normally, I try not to let this get to me, but for some reason last night it just hit me like a ton of bricks. By the time the night was over, I was having trouble hitting the broadside of a barn, shooting fish in a barrel, etc. I appreciate the fact that the people in my party didn't say anything about my lack of skills, but that doesn't deminish the fact that they don't exist. I hear my teammates calling out buildings and check points, at which point I am lost, although this is getting better over time. Maybe it was just a bad day, or maybe the skills are actually lacking.....either way the feeling of inadeqacy really hit home last night...with a hangover till this morning. Being the trooper I am, I will get back on that horse today.......it's a new day...maybe my hand-eye coordination will be better today....see y'all in the matches.

Wow, my first blog.....LOL

Well this is my first attempt at blogging.

I have recently thrown myself into the delves of gaming whole-heartedly. I find myself playing COD4, Halo3 and Forza Motorsport 2 probably more than my woman would probably like. I will have some problems meeting up with people from this site to my router settings, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, and my work schedule. I am sure there ain't many people out there working 3 13 1/2 shifts weekend nights, so I miss out on all the weekend activity. I have really enjoyed joining this site and seeing that I ain't the only old coot out there that likes to kill, maim and destroy. IMO, Call of Duty series is more to my liking than Halo due to the realistic nature of the beast. Halo has it's strong points and I enjoy playing that as well, but COD takes it for me. I haven't been this into gaming since I played Unreal for the first time on the computer. So, here's to a good day of gaming and my you have many frags as you play.
