New Interagents Cover Art & Some Western Reviews

A couple reviews for the Western antholgy have posted recently on the inter-tubes.

News-A-Rama is a great comic and entertainment site. If you dont have them book marked you should.

Flick Cast is new on the scene and they are quickly becoming one of the big guys.

On to new work! Here is the cover to Interagents #6. Interagents is an online print on demand comic written by Dwight Macpherson who wrote the short story I did in Western, He is a very talented writer and an up and coming force I think. He currently is writing the "Grim" comic for IDW. I have posted up the progression on this cover piece from rough to finished color. Enjoy.

Comic Work in this months PREVIEWS!

British publisher AccentUK's Western anthology is in Diamond's comic book catalogue, PREVIEWS this month (June). Critically acclaimed writer Dwight MacPherson and I did a wonderfully gruesome story for Western. Our story is a tale of retribution in the old EC horror vein titled “The 7th Will Rise Again.” I also illustrated the books front and back cover. Until just recently It looked like Western would only see distribution over seas. So this is good news that its in Previews. The twist is that orders have too meet the new Diamond order requirements or they will not fill the orders and Western will not be distributed in the states. So if you like Westerns or want to own a book with some Bat comic art in it you can use the Comic Shop Locator to find a shop near you and ask them to order you a copy. I am the slowest artist on the planet, there can be no doubt! But like the Turtle and the Hair, I eventually get to the finish. I hope you enjoy the surprise I threw in as a thank you for waiting. LAN 09 T-Shirt Design Contest!!

Hey believe it or not i just saw this because of LB's Blog post today. But I wont be contributing this year. So if your using me as lame ass excuse number #42 for not throwing your piece into the thread, that excuse just blew up! Come on only 2 days left people!!!!! Better start representing!!!

Also only 2 days left on my March Of Dimes For babies auction pieces. I was really hoping that The Master chief and Cortana 2 card piece would bring out some of the 2old2play crowd!! Its for a great cause and its a relatively inexpensive way to get an original piece of my Halo art. Come on LB you know you want that Buffy card dude!!! I wont even ask what obscene things you plan to do to it if you score it.

First Ever Sketch Cards!!!

Just did my first ever sketch cards. Its for the March Of Dimes Superheroes for babies charity auction. Here is an interview with the guy who put it all together over at News-A-Rama: I did 5 cards. So far 2 of them are posted up for auction. All of these are done by hand, originals. For you Halo fans like me, the Master Chief is a double card set. WOOOT!

I did 5 total cards. Only 2 are currently posted. The others i guess will go up today or tomorrow.
