Clothes shopping.

As some of you might have read, I've been on a diet for a little while now.  As of 2 days ago I've lost 50lbs.  Holy Moly!  I decided I needed some new clothes because the ones I was wearing fit the old me.  Its been quite a while since I've actually been on a mission to find clothes for myself.  I'm still in the process of losing weight so I dont want to spend a ton but I dont want to buy 15 pairs of sweatpants either.  Whats a guy to do?  I hit the Ross and TJ Maxx for answers.  I've been to 3 different Ross' and 2 TJ Maxx's.  I've looked at a lot of jeans.  I've also looked at some freakin ridiculous looking pairs of jeans.  In addition to the fact I cant wear shit with patches or embroidered designs,  I need a 34 inch inseam.  I did buy a pair of pants with a 32 inch inseam.  I was unloading a lawn mower and tore the crotch out of the pants I  was wearing.  Shit.

In addition to looking at lots of ugly jeans, I saw something that blew me away.  Street Jocks. Do a google image search, you'll see what I'm talking about. What kind of guy would wear a fucking jockstrap every day?   Why wear anything at all?  Is that the male equivalent of a thong?!  I guess if a guy is wearin some of those tight ass skinny jeans and doesnt want pantylines he can wear a street jock! Hahahahaha!! I guess I just had to see it all written out for it to make sense.

So far I've bought 3 pairs of pants, 1 t-shirt, and 4 pairs of underwear.  Thats not much for my 2 days of shopping.   Hopefully this weekend I can find some stuff that I like.  Just a quick FYI, if you like the Adidas Superstars, they changed the style and it sucks.

Decisions Decisions..

So I'm getting another motorcycle helmet.  The new one will be plain black, quite a stark contrast to the flashy one I have now.  Except I'm going to send it into the graphics shop and get some ww2 style nose art/pin up girl on it.

Something like that perhaps...or

Any suggestions?  Red motorcycle by the way, I'll have to change something in the picture to red to it'll all fit together.

Hittin the road...

I've kinda made it a mission of mine to go see more of the state I live in.  Theres tons of places I havent been, so I'm going go try and visit more.   Today I went to Pawnee and Skedee.  Not much interesting in either town...EXCEPT!!! I didnt know Pawnee was where Chester Gould was born.  It should be painfully obvious why this guy was famous.

So then on to Skedee!  I was concerned on my way out this far, the road went from asphalt to gravel and back to asphalt.  Some of the gravel area was washboarded.  Very scary on the motorcyle.  So Skedee was the home of the Osage Indians! But not anymore.

Yup.  Thats Chief Baconrind and Col. Walters.

Thats a poem/story/timeline that Col Walters wrote for the Chief.

I parked in front of the biggest building in town.

This is across the street from where I parked.  Its almost eerie how much is not going on in this town.  I'm guessing when this place was selling gas, it was 49.9 cents/gal.  Straight up on the cheap!

So I covered about 200 miles today.  Not a bad day, little windy though.  The temperature was PERFECT!!!! I couldnt ask for better.  I'm hoping my luck holds into next weekend so I can take another trip somewhere else.

And as a little side note, I've dropped 35lbs so far! W00!

You spin me right round!

Like a record baby!

So I dug out the totes!  I knew I had a lot to go through.  Just forgot exactly how much records actually weighed.

In doing all this searching, I ran across some pretty sweet stuff.

Unfortunately they all had water damage.  The records themselves are in excellent to fair condition, but the sleeves are a mess!  I've got a ton more than this, but these are some of the more popular ones.  I love all the old album art!
