Just a little recap about what is going on around the site. Community Playdate is shaping up nicely, and ideas are being thrown around for next month's festivities. Any and all ideas, and/or site-wide scoops are more than welcome. PM this blog or J-Cat, all ideas welcome!

Other interesting threads: a member got a slap on the wrist from Microsoft, was it because www.2old2play.com was in his motto? I am not sure if that was the reason or not, but let us know what you think. Dragon's AGe: Origins came out yesterday, and Tactica has started a few threads to help out the newb. Always helpful in a game this complex. And Caesar got on Bungie's frontpage today for his 3D renders... Congrats, guy!

Halloween - Didja get lotsa loot?

Is it me, or has Halloween changed form a kid's "holiday" to an adult one? But's what ever it's become, it's still an excuse to be a bit silly and eat candy. Now, I know that some on line games have special halloween games, did any of you participate?

On site news: theFrags Away Contest write up is on the front page. Thanks to Caesar for organizing, putting up the prize and for just doing a ton of stuff for 2old2play in general.  This guy is always on hand to make signatures, help with logos, and lots of stuff behind the scenes. Thanks!

As a reminder, PCP is holding a Call of Duty: modern Warfare 2 community playdate and tournament. Sign up in the forums if you want to participate. Make sure to put your clan affiliations, PCP wants to mix up the teams as much as possible.

The title says it all: Pork Chop Platoon and 2o2p are presenting the community playdate and CoD: MW2 kickoff event. It's on Friday after launch of CoDMW2. All the details are here.  If you are interested in the tourney, sign up in the forum. Come on out and play with a great bunch of guys and gals.

Friend of Friend Tags

The FoF tag is a beautiful thing, but it every once in a while they need a spring cleaning. In light of CoD: MW2, the Call of Duty FoF tag is getting cleaned out. Check the thread if you want to stay on the tag.  And if you get knocked off of the CoD tag, you can always make aFR to the Forza tag.  Thanks JCotter!

Got a wedding coming up? Perhaps you are going to a black tie affair and you just don't know what to wear that will alert other gamers to bow to your nerd greatness. Well now you know.
